From day one, we began by asking women what they
want: if you could design your ideal kit, what would it
look and feel like? With each iteration, the feedback
from these women guided from process to product.
The design of the leg guards is inspired by a
revolutionary piece of technology that we introduced
in our men’s line: the LINQ™ Hinge System. Using the
Hinge as our focal point, we built a leg guard with
pieces fit for a woman’s leg. Ingenuity led us to stitch
the middle two straps together to create a cross that
rests on her upper calf and prevents bunching behind
the knee.
We set out to design a chest protector that would stay
in place regardless of her movements. A unique shape
that conforms to the curves of a woman’s body was
the key. We tweaked breakpoints, harness design,
and overall shape until we landed on a winning
combination. Seamless movement from should to
hip, from the first time she slips it over her head to the
final out of the game.
Rounding out this elite women’s kit is our popular
MVP Series hockey style helmet, which has set the
standard for comfort, durability, and protection for
