4th INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTOR SUMMIT - Thursday, 21th November 2019 - Institutional Capital Forum
The INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTOR SUMMIT 2019 is a private event held on behalf of and by opinion leaders in the area of
infrastructure investment and finance from Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the “DACH” countries) and beyond.

Contrary to most other events on the topic of infrastructure, the 4th INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTOR SUMMIT 2019 is reserved for
a limited, exclusive circle of people consisting of established market players and opinion leaders.

The seniority and the high caliber of the participants combined with an open and dialogue-based event format will enable
relationships to be established or cemented in an exclusive environment. The setting and atmosphere of the forum facilitates a
constructive exchange on the latest and most innovative topics relating to infrastructure investments. The innovative and
intimate character of the forum allows a direct dialogue to be held between decision-makers at investor level, leading
infrastructure asset managers, project developers, infrastructure firms and other important players in infrastructure markets.

The small scale of the private event – the forum is restricted to a maximum of 20 participants – is ideal for discussing market
changes and investment opportunities at top level.

                                                                                                                                  2

Agenda

08:30 – 09:00 COFFEE AND REGISTRATION
09:00 – 09:05 WELCOME AND OPENING OF THE SUMMIT
09:05 – 09:50 KEYNOTE PRESENTATION CHANGING ENERGY MARKETS OFFER EXTRA POWER TO INVESTORS
Global energy markets are affected by several countering trends. Population and income growth continue to boost energy
demand, but global energy demand decelerates. The energy transition is shaking up the global energy system leading to
the need to align the energy intensity of the global economy and the global fuel mix, including the rapid deployment of
clean energy technologies and the growing electrification of energy. The decline in renewables’ cost accelerates further,
out-competing new-built fossil capacity in the short to medium term.

Speaker: Carl L. Williams, Partner – Riverstone Holdings
09:50 – 10:30 KEYNOTE PRESENTATION & INTERVIEW INFRASTRUCTURE DEBT: UNDERSTANDING THE OPPORTUNITY
The infrastructure debt market has changed rapidly in recent years, and many institutional investors are attracted to the
industry’s potential for long-term cash flows, diversification, and attractive risk-adjusted returns. Yet the opportunity set
in this budding part of the market is remarkably diverse. The interview session looks across the asset class to find out
what the challenges are, how the market is changing and where to find attractive investment opportunities.

Company Profile
Riverstone Holdings LLC (www.riverstonellc.com) is an energy and power-focused private investment firm founded in 2000 by David M. Leuschen and Pierre F.
Lapeyre, Jr. with approximately $39 billion of capital raised. We conduct buyout and growth capital investments in the exploration & production, midstream,

Our organization is a flat, nimble structure that suits us and the management teams with which we partner. In fact, we have worked with many of our current
