Harmony in Forms and Symbols- Common Roots in cultural diversities

As part of this project experience, some students who attended the “M. Preti
– A. Frangipane” high school in Reggio Calabria were involved in creating
artworks, using different techniques.
These art works, such as Graphics, Ceramic Design, Figurative Arts , as well
as Pictorial and Three-dimensional types, such as Painting and Plastics,
realized in the various laboratories of the School were conceived and
designed as free creations, or as reproductions of other works, or else as re-
interpretations of traditional artefacts, artistic works and handicrafts of the
three countries, Italy, Portugal and Poland, whose friendship has been
consolidated by the ERASMUS Project "A School For Tomorrow's Europe”,
that compares the educational systems applied in the respective schools, to
study possible strategies to be put in place to combat the phenomenon of
early school leaving.
The "fil rouge”, in this transversal value, is that even in the diversity of
languages and cultures, a common koinè can be found, in which roots or
origins of humanity are recognizable and it is from here that the reason for
these creative experiences springs to life .
