ADMISSION NOTIFICATION (2020-21)
M.Phil. Clinical Psychology
(Two years) Course
Approved by Government of Rajasthan and Rehabilitation Council of India

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to M.Phil. Clinical
Psychology (two years duration) course in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College &
Hospital, Jaipur - a unit of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences &
Technology, Jaipur. Admissions shall be made through written Entrance
Examination and Personal Interview.
Eligibility –
M.A./M.Sc. Degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology or equivalent from a
University recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
For SC/ST category, minimum of 50% in aggregate is essential.
No of seats - 10 (Ten)
Reservation of seats –
In accordance with Rajasthan State Government reservation policy.
Fee Structure –
Candidates selected for admission shall be required to deposit fee at the time of
admission as under –
Tuition Fees Rs. 03 Lacs (for full course)
Rs. 1.50 Lacs to be deposited at the time of admission.
One post dated cheque of balance amount (Rs. 1.50 Lacs) as
tuition fees of second year also to be deposited at the time of
admission.
Caution Money Rs. 20,000/- to be deposited at the time of admission.
This amount is interest free and refundable on completion of
the course.
Enrolment Fees Rs. 20,000/- to be deposited at the time of admission.

Candidates will have to submit all the original documents including migration
certificate required for enrolment along with prescribed eligibility fees within two
months of admission. Then after, he/she will have to pay applicable late fees as per
prevailing University Rules.

www.mgumst.org It should be neatly and completely filled in by the candidate
himself/herself.
Entrance Examination Fee –
Entrance Examination Fee of Rs. 2000/- is to be deposited in below mentioned
Bank account of the University through Electronic transfer. This account is only for
Entrance Examination fees –

Candidate shall have to send the receipt of electronic transfer of Rs. 2000/- along
with application form otherwise the application form shall not be accepted.
Deposition of duly filled in application form alongwith all necessary
enclosures including receipt of electronic transfer of Entrance
Examination fees -
The candidate shall send the duly filled in application form and all enclosures
including receipt of electronic transfer of Entrance Examination fees after
scanning as one PDF file on the email admissions@mgumst.org
While coming for entrance examination the candidate shall bring a passport size
photograph. It must be the same, which has already been pasted on the
admission form.
In-service candidates should send their application form along with no objection
certificate/permission from their present Employer for admission to M.Phil.
Clinical Psychology two years fulltime clinical training course.
Employees of the MGUMST should apply through their concerned Dean of
Faculty.
Last date of submission of Application Form is Saturday, 24.10.2020.

Schedule of Written Entrance Examination –
Date of Entrance Examination : Friday 30.10.2020
Duration of the Examination : One and Half Hours
Time : 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
Venue : MGUMST, Jaipur
The Entrance Examination question paper shall contain Multiple Choice Type
Questions (MCQs). The medium of written entrance examination shall be
English.
Result of Entrance Examination :
The result of the candidates who appear at the written entrance examination
shall be uploaded on the University website www.mgumst.org in the evening
of the same day i.e. on 30.10.2020. Therefore all the candidates must keep
visiting the University website regularly. The candidates who qualify written
entrance examination shall be required to attend the personal interview on the
next day i.e. on 31.10.2020.
No separate intimation shall be sent to individual candidates regarding result.
Personal Interview & Document verification –
Candidates who qualify the written entrance examination shall be called for
personal interview provided they fulfill the requirement of eligibility as
mentioned in this Notification on the day of personal interview. Such candidates
who do not bring the original documents in proof of their fulfilling the eligibility
shall not be allowed for personal interview and hence they shall not be
considered for admission.
Schedule of Personal Interview :
Date of Personal Interview : Saturday, 31.10.2020
Time : 11:00 A.M.
Venue : MGUMST, Jaipur
Candidate shall be required to report one hour before i.e. at 10:00 A.M.
in the Vivekanand Hall of the University.
Final result of the candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the marks
obtained at the written entrance examination and the personal interview. This
result shall be uploaded merit wise on the University website on the same day
i.e. on 31.10.2020.
No separate intimation shall be sent to individual candidates regarding final
result.

List of documents to be enclosed with the application form -
Self attested photocopies of the following relevant documents are to be enclosed
with the admission application form :-
• Marks sheet/Certificate of the Secondary Examination (10th Class) showing
date of birth.
• Marks sheet of 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or its equivalent Examination.
• Marks sheet of graduation (BA/B.Sc.) examination.
• Marks sheet of qualifying PG (MA/M.Sc.) examination, as applicable (as
mentioned under the heading "eligibility" in this notification)
• Caste/Category Certificate for Reservation (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL/EWS),
if applicable, along with Domicile Certificate.
• Disability Certificate, if applicable.
List of documents to be brought at the time of personal interview -
Following relevant Original documents and one set of self attested photocopy of
the documents are to be brought by the candidate at the time of Personal
Interview, otherwise the candidate shall not be considered for Personal
Interview :-
• Marks sheet/Certificate of the Secondary Examination (10th Class) showing
date of birth.
• Marks sheet of 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or its equivalent Examination.
• Marks sheet of graduation (BA/B.Sc.) examination.
• Marks sheet of qualifying PG examination (MA/M.Sc.), as applicable (as
mentioned under the heading "eligibility" in this notification)
• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended.
• Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
• Migration Certificate from the concerned University.
• Caste/Category Certificate for Reservation (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL/EWS),
if applicable, along with Domicile Certificate. (OBC Non Creamy layer
Certificate shall be valid only if its issue date is within twelve months prior to
the notified last date of submission of the Admission Application Form).
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate, if applicable.
• Disability Certificate, if applicable.
• No objection certification/permission from the present employer for
admission to M.Phil. Clinical Psychology two years full time course (for in
service candidate only).
• Other relevant certificate(s), if any.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS -
1) Incomplete application forms or the forms submitted after the last date on
account of any reason shall not be considered for admission.
2) All disputes pertaining to admissions shall be subject to the jurisdiction at
Jaipur, Rajasthan only.
3) The University reserves the right to make changes in the schedule of written
examination/personal interview.
