Ladies and Gentlemans, citizen and stranger,
when you cross the castle gate , you will go back da Vinci
to a past time, a time of celebrations… Two great souls characterize the community of Mondaino: the philological atten-
tion to historical re-enactments such as the Palio de lo Daino and the ancient

the vegetation, he noticed that two enormous eyes were scrutinizing him.
He saw the animal clearly. He remembered seeing, in the past, miniatures
on old dusty books that s roughly resembled the appearance of this cre-
ature. Dracones, drakons, dragons were called (...........) arrow stump came
out of the scaly skin. With a delicate gesture, but decided, he took away
what was left of the weapon. Sigismondo noticed that the contact with
that purplish warm blood to him transmitted a strange feeling of well-
being, of energy that pervaded the body and, above all, the mind. (............)
It became customary to go to the puddles of water where the strange
encounter had taken place. And punctually, the dragon appeared from
the thick vegetation. And in the days before a battle became almost a
