Introduction
Eden Care Communities is a Regina based, locally owned and operated charitable group of
companies which provides community connected, integrated, intergenerational and inclusive
housing and care services. Our programs range from early childhood education through to the
long-term care continuum of home care, day respite, assisted living, supportive independent
living, personal care homes and special care homes. We also provide supportive housing for low
income, vulnerable adults and families without voice.

•    Eden Care owns and operates two multi-story and five single story buildings in four Regina
     neighborhood locations. We also operate three Moose Jaw neighborhood locations and are
     investigating expansion into Saskatoon later this year.
•    Our client gender demographic is approximately 62% female and 38% male while our work
     force gender demographic of 85% female and 15% male.
•    Our client age demographic is approximately: Children ages 2-5 (3%), Adult Under 65 (27%),
     Adult 65+ (70%). Our staff or care partner age demographic is: 20-29 (21%), 30-39 (19%),
     40-49 (25%), 50+ (34%).
•    Our average employee compensation is $60,330 and the top five banks used by our
     employees are: RBC (26%), TD (21%), Bank of Nova Scotia (19%), CIBC (13%), and Conexus
     (12%).
•    A rough cross section of the vehicles owned or leased by our employees and clients would
     represent approximately: Ford (34%), GM (32%), Chrysler (8%), Kia and Hyundai (6% each),
     Toyota and Nissan (5% each) and others representing approximately 4%.
•    The two-principle cable, internet and phone providers used by our clients and staff are
     Access Communications and SaskTel. Through social media we reach 12,000 people per
     month.

Through our Eden Alternative™ philosophy and our person-centered and person directed
culture we provide CHOICE. Our family of program and service participants, Elders, Residents,
and Tenants direct their own care, making decisions on how they live their lives.

As a leading organization in Regina with employees, family and friends currently dealing with
aging and others supporting loved ones living with disabilities, you no doubt understand the
pressing need for the homes, programs and services provided by Eden Care Communities to
these often forgotten and marginalized members of our community.

Our efforts to assist in addressing these pressing needs can’t take effect unless we have the
support of everyone in our community. That’s where you come in!

We are writing to ask you to support our activities by sponsoring our gala. We hope to hear
from you soon and thank you in advance for your generosity. We would like an opportunity to
discuss how we could develop a marketing partnership which is beneficial to your marketing
strategy by providing access and education to our workforce, clients and their families of your
product lines while assisting us in our major funding activity.

Each year we host a Gala Fundraising Event. Proceeds are used for improving the quality of life
and providing better care, programs and services in our charitable organizations. This year
marks our 12th Annual Gala Event and features an intimate evening with the Regina Symphony
Orchestra.

Fundraising and your generous donations and contributions allow us to make a difference in
the lives of the people we serve. Prior year contributions have provided funding for:
   •   Creative Arts and the Art Education Program
   •   Regina Symphony Orchestra performances and Music Therapy in our homes
   •   Regina Lutheran Hospital Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Program
   •   Recreational and Capital Equipment Replacement
   •   Outdoor Patio Furniture and Recreational Programs
   •   Wheelchair Accessible Bus – Mobility Transportation
   •   Pet Therapy Program
   •   Life skills training and education
   •   Primary Care and Wellness Services

This year we are offering a series of sponsorship opportunities. We can arrange our sponsorship
levels to meet your corporate needs and that of our and your current and potential clients.

This is your invitation to participate in the 2018 Annual Fundraising Gala and to be part of
something very special. In the last year:
   •   The Regina Lutheran Home provided 62 Long-Term care spaces in Regina, with a focus
       on person centered and person directed care, through The Eden Alternative™
   •   Broadway Terrace provided 129 assisted living suites, along with 15 personal care home
       spaces within Harvest Haven
   •   Milton Heights provided Affordable and Supportive Housing to 135 low income
       households in Regina
   •   The Eden Care Suites provided Assisted Living and supported-independent living to 35
       seniors and 20 supportive independent living suites
   •   Eden Care Health provided Home Care and Foot Care Services to over 450 clients in our
       homes, other care sites and the community
   •   Saplings Early Learning Child Care Centre made a difference in the lives of 20 children by
       providing additional licensed spaces for toddlers and pre-schoolers in the NE Regina
       Area
   •   The Community Day & Wellness Program provided socialization, meaningful activity,
       and daily respite for caregivers, providing 20 spaces to the community.

Community Partner Level                                              $5,000
Thank you for considering the Community Partner level of sponsorship. This level recognizes
