The following four questions are designed to give the Admissions Committee at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College not only information about yourself
and your background, but also some assessment of why you would like attend the College. The answers will also give us some idea of the level and
quality of your writing style. Your answers should be thoughtful, organized and to the point. The total length of the responses should be 6-8 pages,
double-spaced (usually typewritten), with generous margins.
Answer the questions in order. The questions in parentheses are intended as suggestive aids; you are not required to answer all of them. Write complete
sentences, and paragraph sensibly. Use only one side of the paper. Number your answers and your pages. You need not begin each new answer on a
new page.
Proofread your pages carefully, watching for errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure.
1. Please describe one or two significant things that have shaped you to this point to ready you to embark now on your post secondary education.
(For example: membership in your family; films, art, or music that have changed the way you view the world; church, political or other public-life
experience or ideas that have stirred you)
2. What do you think of the education you have had until now? (For example: Has it been successful in meeting your needs, and how does it fit
in with your plans? In what ways has it been especially effective? How do you think it might have been improved?) You may also relate some school
