people from Singapore and around the world to explore a more
unexpected side of Singapore – a representation of Singapore shaped by
our very own local talents.
As a brand that is truly Singaporean but with an international footprint,
available in more than 50 markets across the globe, Tiger Beer
understands, supports and celebrates all things that champion
Singapore from taste to talent.
Experience seasonal brews and a diverse menu of local street food
favourites and international classics created in collaboration with
Timbre X. Discover unconventional artworks and merchandise
designed by local talents, as well as an interactive digital customisation
station where you can personalize your own Tiger Beer bottle label.
Makko Teck Neo (Makko is Peranakan for aunty) started by baking and selling her signature
pineapple tarts and cookies to friends during Chinese New Year. As business grew, the Telok Blangah
restaurant was opened in 2008; serving traditional Peranakan dishes and Kueh Kuehs.
Their carefully curated menu showcased trademark dishes which are made from tightly guarded
family recipes, the must-haves includes Nyonya Dry Mee Siam, Ayam Buah Keluak, Beef Rendang, as
well as other favourites such as Nyonya Ngoh Hiang, and Nyonya Kueh Pie Tee.
After serving their loyal regulars and those in the know for the past decade at Telok Blangah Rise,
Makko Teck Neo opened its second restaurant at The Metropolis situated in North Buona Vista in
2019. Come May 2021, Makko Teck Neo will step foot into the East of Singapore through a
collaboration with Tiger Street Lab @ Jewel. Two of their signature dishes, Ayam Buah Keluak and
Assam Udang will be featured in the dining menu, along with an exclusive dish - Grilled Chicken
Skewers with Makko Teck Neo Signature Rendang Sauce.
