Commencing in 1871, the Bendigo Easter Fair is one of Australia’s longest running community events, which will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2021. To recognise the significance of the 150th anniversary, it is only fitting that the celebrations be extended to include additional entertainment, activities, and celebratory events* resulting in increased crowd numbers and media exposure of the event. The event’s diverse range of entertainment offers something for all ages including parades, interactive activities for children, carnival rides, traditional cultural experiences, fireworks, markets, food, music and much more. This annual event showcases Bendigo’s Chinese heritage and culture, highlighted as tens of thousands line the streets for the Gala Parade featuring Bendigo’s newest Golden Dragon, Dai Gum Loong. * Subject to COVID19 guidelines at the time.
