        Tuesdays from September 2019 7.30 – 9.30pm
        ages 16-25

Have you ever wanted to write a play? Have you ever fancied directing or pro-
ducing? How about creating a whole new piece of theatre?

Calling all budding producers, writers, directors, performers, artists and indeed
anyone with a passion for being creative or organising events. We are very excited
to announce that we will be launching a new scheme in September 2019 to
enable a group of young people aged 16 – 25 to create and produce a piece of
theatre to be performed as a professional show in our venue.

You will have sole use of a space within the Grove Theatre to meet once a week to
plan and rehearse and also the opportunity to work towards a Gold Arts Award
which is a level 3 qualification (comparable to an A-level) and can earn you 16
        UCAS points.

You may also have the opportunity to get involved in some of our existing projects
such as the annual Grove Production Project, GD1, World Book Day and specialist
        workshops.

The sessions will be free to attend but you may be asked for a small donation
        towards refreshments each week.

If you are interested in joining the scheme please contact Anna Elmore –
Education Manager grove.education@sll.co.uk for further details on how to enrol.

LIVE & ENCORE SCREENINGS
Small Island Sun 7th July 7.15pm
Andrea Levy’s Orange Prize-winning novel Small Island comes to life
in an epic new theatre adaptation. The play follows three intricately
connected stories. Hortense yearns for a new life away from rural Jamaica,
Gilbert dreams of becoming a lawyer and Queenie longs to escape her
                                     Lincolnshire roots.

The Lehman Trilogy Thu 25th July 7pm
The story of a family and a company that changed the world, told in three
parts on a single evening. Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes (Skyfall,
The Ferryman) directs Simon Russell Beale, Adam Godley and Ben Miles
who play the Lehman Brothers, their sons and grandsons.

Measure for Measure Sun 11th Aug 7.15pm
When a young novice nun is compromised by a corrupt official, who offers
to save her brother from execution in return for sex, she has no idea where
to turn for help. When she threatens to expose him, he tells her that no
one would believe her. Shakespeare wrote this play in the early 1600s, yet
                                     it remains astonishingly resonant today.

André Rieu: Maastricht Concert Sun 18th Aug 3pm & 7pm
This year André Rieu invites you to put on your dancing shoes for his
spectacular 2019 hometown concert from Maastricht: ‘Shall we Dance?’
The majestic waltz has been such an inspiration to André throughout his
career that its three four beat has become, in many ways, the rhythm of his
                                     life.

One Man, Two Guvnors Sun 29th Sep 7.15pm

Russian National Ballet presents Swan Lake – the greatest of all
romantic ballets. Music by Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky.
Swan Lake is a tale of two young women, Odette and Odilie,
