REACH CONFERENCE 2018
REACH Conference 2018 is organized for the eleventh time combining lecturers and participants
from different sectors of industry, authorities, academia and other stakeholders. Now we are in the
full speed of REACH legislation (10 years on) reaching the important milestone to complete registration
of substances above 1 tonne per year. After the first results published, still more then 5000 cases are
in process actually with a deadline of August 31, 2018.
REACH registration 2018 deadline is a challenge especially for SMEs. Subsequent duties for
downstream users in the supply chain are under implementation. Exposure scenarios and
e-SDSs are more and more frequent and creating new tasks for all of involved. Also authorisation
process is on the place—the Candidate list now containing a total of 181 entries and the Authorisation
list contains 43 unique substances/entries. Further restrictions are applied by revision of Annex XVII.
Overlaps with other legislative sectors is under evluation, but very important is the REACH and
CLP REFIT evaluation (REACH and CLP Review 2017).
So what are the results and what will be next after REACH 2018?
Experiences, difficulties, learning lessons as well as good practices will be discussed during the
REACH Conference 2018...
We focus also on REACH implementation in Small and Medium Enterprises.

Downstream User Tasks under REACH After Registration and Available Tools

will take place free of charge (for the REACH Conference attendees) registered also for this training.
Solely registration for this training only is also possible but is a matter of a fee.
Training is focused on downstream users duties under management of chemicals in manufacturing
processes, a proper supply chain management and the development of sustainable products, systems
and technologies in overall respect of environmental and human health objectives, all in frame of
REACH and other EU legislation. Training will be organized in cooperation with
EUROMETAUX—European Association of Metals.
