2020 was a tough year, but we’re happy to say welcome back to the National 4x4
Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo! You’re in for a cracker of a weekend here
at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Our event will be operating under a COVID Safe Event Plan approved by Queensland
Health, so some things will run a little differently to normal. It’s all designed to keep you
safe, so please follow the guidelines mapped out around the event, and take a moment to
read the guidelines on the following page.
This weekend we’re bringing you the action with our jam-packed entertainment schedule!
Starring on the Action Arena is Matt Mingay and his Hot Wheels racing team. You’ll see
Matt and his son Madzy go head to head in a family battle. Also at the Action Arena are
our friends from All Wheels Entertainment with their Gymkhana quad bike race, full of
obstacles and adrenaline!
The ever-popular Outback Stage has returned and all your favourite TV celebrities and
friends of the industry will share their latest adventure tales. The action-packed program
has something for everyone. If you get the chance between all the bargain-hunting, head
down to the Outback stage located in Building 8.
Speaking of bargain-hunting, make sure you download the free Bargain Hunters Guide
from our website featuring our show-only specials. The Guide is just a teaser, so make sure
you get around to all the great brands at the show to see what great deals they’ve got on
offer. Don’t be shy!
The Proving Ground is back bigger than ever in 2021 and in a new location that offers
the ultimate opportunity to put the latest 4x4 vehicles through their paces in the most
challenging test course yet. This year we welcome back our sponsor Motorama 4x4MORE,
who’ll be running test drives with the latest 4x4 models. If you have always wondered
what it’s like to take your favourite model off-road, this is your chance to find out.
Our mates from 4WD Queensland are back again too. They’ll be running training
demos on the most common off-road challenges all weekend.
We have a brand new exciting feature at the Show this year as we welcome The Rig
Gallery: Show ‘N’ Shine. This competitive feature allows members of the off-road
community to showcase their 4WD beasts to peers and the public alike. The competition
caters for all sorts of rigs; new school and old school; battle hardened off-road rigs; multi-
purpose work rigs; and even weekend show ponies! Head down to the main oval to check
out the mods and rigs.
It’s no secret that our friends in Australia’s regional and remote communities are on a long
road to recovery after being devasted by bushfires and droughts. Helping them get back
on their feet is is the best thing we can do, so stock up on your gear and get out exploring
and supporting what this great country of ours has to offer.
