THE CAMPILARO IN A GLIMPSE
The Campilaro is a 3 days / stages cyclo sportive created in 2015 offering full service to
all cycling enthusiasts, race riders and cyclo tourists, licensees and non-licensees, aged
18 and more. All participants can register solo or as a team.
Managed and powered by experienced regional organizers, the Campilaro proposes
an unique Pyrenean experience: crossing with full support and comfort the mythical
climbs that wrote and are still writing cycling history.
Its format is also unique: the Campilaro is timed only on selected climbs, giving each
rider in the peloton the chance to manage the race as she or he wishes.
Riders followers, friends and families will also enjoy the quality of the Pyrenean hospitality
and will be able to follow the race with precise road book information.
The Campilaro is strictly limited to 198 bib numbers, honoring the number of riders in
historical cycling Grands Tours and staying faithful to its values of proximity and
exclusivity.

CAMPILARO Pyrenees, a 2019 edition with a wild taste
Nestled in the heart of the Pyrenees between Toulouse and Andorra, the Ariège (and
Aude) department(s) cultivates (s) a fierce tradition of independence ... Discovering
this territory, will require alternating medium and high mountains, gorges and
plateaus, great passes and unpublished roads, walls and harbors ... for a new great
sporting challenge.
For our fifth edition, Foix and Ax-les-Thermes will be our two host cities and will host
CAMPILARO Pyrenees 2019 from 26th to 28th July 2019 for an approximate total of
360 kilometers and 7,400 meters of ascent. The reception of participants will take
place on Thursday, 25th July, 2019 from 14h00 to 18h00 in Foix.
While offering a course 100% renewed, CAMPILARO holds fast to its DNA with, on the
one hand, timed sections mainly positioned on the lower parts and climbs and, on
the other hand the will to make you discover great Pyrenean passes:
Famous passes, climbed during major professional events (Tour de France, Vuelta
South-Occitania Road ...) such as the Wall of Peguera (1375m - 3.6km at 11.8%),
the Col de Port (1250m - 17km to 5% average) or the Port de Pailhères (2001m -
15km to 8.1% average).
Less publicly-known passes but equally grandiose in terms of difficulty or aesthetics
as the Prat d'Albis (1205m - 12km to 6.5% average) which leads to a fantastic
panorama, or the Col de Montségur at the foot of Castle of the same name
(1059m - 15km at 5% average)
The 2019 route of the Ariège and Aude valleys, includes 8 main passes: Col de Port
(1250m), Wall of Peguère (1375m), Prat d'Albis (1205m), Col du Chandelier (898m),
Col de Notre Dame (950m) , Col de Pailhères (2001m), Col de Chioula (1431m) and
Col de Montségur (1059m).
The race remains human-sized, since 198 bibs only are available! SOLO or as a
TEAM, the CAMPILARO Pyrenees is open to all bike enthusiasts, riders, cyclosportives
adepts... with a unique goal, obtain the status of Finisher!

CAMPILARO INDIVIDUAL FEES : 320€/person for a subscription before March the1st -
350€/person for a subscription between March the 2st and July the 15th
NEW! YOUTH INDIVIDUAL FEES (UNDER 26): 230€
CAMPILARO TEAM FEES : Each team has to be composed of five riders. The team will
need to give the names of its five members at the registration, and fill in the five
registration forms. - 1400€/team of 5 riders before March the1st (280€/ person) -
1550€/team between March the 2st and July the 15th (310€/person).
ACCOMODATION 3 nights and breakfasts from Thursday the 25th of July in the evening
until Sunday the 28nd in the morning to choose from 3 packs :
ECO PACK in an « economic » accommodation (bed & breakfast, 1* hotels…),
111€/ person – (Single room supplement: 15€/night/person
CONFORT PACK : in traditional hotels (2* hotels, or apartment hotels).
156€/person – (Single room supplement: 25€/night/person)
PREMIUM PACK : in traditional hotels (3 and 4* hotels), 237€/person – (single
room supplement: 35€/night/person)
MASSAGE OPTION with 3 different packs:
Pack of 2 massages: 40 euros
Pack of 3 massages: 50 euros
Pack of 4 massages: 60 euros
