The Snow Building is Oakland Zoo’s premier venue. Located atop
the hills of Knowland Park, this facility offers an unparalleled view
of the city of Oakland, the Bay, and San Francisco. With its breath-
taking views, this is an ideal location to host your wedding and
reception, anniversary, quinceañera, or any special celebration!

Rides Area Birthday Party
Ride the Outback Express Adventure Train, the exhilarating Tiger

your leisure and get an up-close view of our animals. With three
party packages available and five outdoor birthday party locations

Snow Building
The Snow Building sits atop a hill granting guests a sweeping view – from indoors and out – of the Bay Area and
beyond. Floor-t0-ceiling glass doors offer an unimpeded scenic background. Peppered with rustic evergreen and
elaborate hand-clipped landscaping, the Snow Building offers a truly unique and memorable venue for holding a
variety of events, ranging from corporate meetings to family gatherings to weddings. Full kitchen available.
Planning a wedding? Oakland Zoo offers a free one-hour rehearsal 14 days prior to your wedding!

Marian Zimmer Auditorium
The Marian Zimmer Auditorium is located in a beautiful tree-lined valley snugly ringed by hills on all sides. This quaint
location is near the entrance to our Children’s Zoo; a classic wood exterior gives the setting a rustic feeling from a
gentler era, and a wide open interior and soft lighting provides an intimate setting even for large groups. The Zimmer
Auditorium is a great place to hold a variety of events, ranging from corporate events to family gatherings.
Planning a wedding? Oakland Zoo offers a free one-hour rehearsal 14 days prior to your wedding!

Children’s Rides Area Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child’s birthday in our fun-filled Children’s Rides Area at the Oakland Zoo. Young guests can ride the
Outback Express Adventure Train, zip around the exhilarating Tiger Coaster, and sit atop an endangered animal on our
Carousel. You can the gather your friends and family together to sing Happy Birthday, eat, and open presents at your
party site. After your celebration, your party can go explore the Zoo and interact with our amazing animals. Witness
our daily animal feedings, pet a goat in the Children’s Zoo, and catch a spectacular view from the Sky Ride. Two party
packages available, and five great outdoor birthday party locations. Catered food available.
Premier Party Package
Maximum guests: 40/50 (depending on location)
Hours available: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Rate: $275/members, $300/non-member
Round tables: 5-6 round tables, depending on site
Includes: 1 wristband (unlimited rides), 6 parking
passes, 12 Zoo admissions, and 44 rides tickets
Standard Party Package

Celebrate your next event at one of the Zoo’s beautiful outdoor facilities in Knowland Park at the Oakland Zoo. The
Zoo is a great place to hold your company event, family reunion, or group outing. Then, gather your friends and fam-
ily together to explore the Zoo at your leisure and learn about our amazing animals. Grab a map to check out daily
animal feedings, pet a goat in the Children’s Zoo, and catch a spectacular view from the Sky Ride. All picnic sites are
located in our Lower Park. Tour options of the Zoo available, including a guided Docent tour.
