experiences that expand their perspectives beyond the classroom and local
community. Through the places we have traveled such as England, France, Spain,

we learn about in the culinary lab, and the students often learn that there are many

Career Connections is a work-based learning program that integrates high school courses,
technical skills, and career goals through real-world work experiences. Through work-based

learning experiences, students merge theory with practical work experience in jobs with local
business partners.
Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative has provided students with
employment and internship opportunities for more than 25 years. Many of

(WBL) program. We are extremely grateful for their partnership not only
