Commitment to Volunteer
The Missouri Symphony Conservatory relies heavily on volunteers for every aspect of our organization. We highly value
and need your time, talent, and passion to achieve our mission for every Conservatory student. Without your leadership
and commitment to special projects and dedication to our organization, we cannot achieve our greatest success. It is
therefore strongly encouraged that all parents and students contribute in two or more of the following areas:

 Rehearsal Coordinator Volunteers- Duties include rehearsal set up and tear down and picking up pizza on pizza nights.
 Concert Organization Volunteers- Duties include selling tickets and merchandise, assisting with student check-
in, monitoring donations cases, and assisting with backstage/green room help.
 Concert Operations Volunteers- Duties include loading/transporting equipment from Broadway Christian Church
to the concert venue, setting up and tearing down for the concert, and loading/transporting equipment back to the
church.
 End of the Year Pizza Party Volunteers- Duties include party set-up, serving food and drinks, party clean up
and chaperoning.
 Home Tour Docent Volunteers- Duties include greeting tour guests and following a short script about the area
in which they are stationed. Shifts typically last 2-4 hours.
 Holiday Home Tour Volunteers- Duties include overseeing student musicians while they perform for tourguests.
