This Workshop brings together policy makers, disaster management
administrators, researchers, risk managers, urban planners,
corporate social responsibility executives, business continuity
professionals, non-profit representatives and others who are
interested in disaster management to learn about the opportunities
and challenges of disaster management and networking to make
South Africa and the world disaster resilient.
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

implications on a macro and micro level.

management.

legislation.
Analyze various at-risk and disaster scenarios and make
recommendations for effective disaster risk management.

Knowledge of the South African Disaster Management Act and
Policy Framework
Understanding basic disaster risk assessments and planning

The objectives of the Summit have been defined as follows:

INVESTMENT REQUIRED
Although certain investment categories are listed below, we do not
want to bind potential sponsors to the suggested amounts. Moon
Consulting will accept any other denomination of sponsorship
amounts and it is negotiable.

Ad Hoc Sponsorship is available of certain items e.g. sponsoring the

Financial Terms and Conditions
As with any sponsorship opportunity as soon as you financially
commit to becoming a sponsor your name will be associated with the
Summit and exposure will commence. The Summit marketing is well
underway with the website up and running, the Summit e-zine going
out regularly and press releases and associated exposure being
distributed / organized.
Payments Terms are as follows:
100% payment by 21st MARCH 2019 or as arranged with the
Organizing Committee.
