        MDA WELCOME BACK!
Welcome back to MDA! We had an exciting first week! After
  Dates to Remember
MDA DATES TO REMEMBER months away, it was so nice to have everyone back in the
studio. Thanks to all the dance families for your patience as
we work out a few kinks and for following all the safety
measures we have in place. If you have any suggestions or
problems please let us know. We are here to help!

HANDBOOKS AVAILABLE IN THE PARENT PORTAL
Columbus Day Handbooks were already sent out via email. If you didn't get

THERE IS CLASS ON COLUMBUS DAY
Marietta Dance Academy will have classes on Columbus Day,
Monday, October 12. As a general rule, MDA is always open
on Monday holidays. In the fall semester, we will close
Wednesday and Thursday of the week of Thanksgiving. Aside
Competition Team from that, we are here dancing! The fall semester finishes on
Bath Bomb Fundraiser December 17 and we'll take a couple of weeks off to celebrate
Ends Wednesday, Oct. 21 the holidays before returning in January, 2021.

                              MDA GETS SPOOKY
Fall is here and that means Halloween is drawing near! In
years past we've used Halloween week as a chance for
dancers to bring a friend. Unfortunately, that won't happen
for this year's Halloween celebration. We are still brewing
Halloween plans, though. Stay posted for more information
about how the studio plans to get spooky!

                             PARKING
Here are couple of reminders about parking:

Please do not park in our alley between buildings. It's
recommended not to drive through the alley during dance
                                hours.

We share the back parking lot and like to be good
neighbors. Please use either on- street parking or pull
into a marked space in the parking lot behind the studio.

Parking is available on both sides of Front Street and
Greene Street. Parking enforcement in downtown
Marietta began earlier this summer. Not minding fire
Oct. 5 hydrants and time limits could get expensive!
    Astronomy Day
There is also a small public parking lot between the
Lafayette hotel and the Ohio river.

slippers but we strongly recommend wearing regular

KNOW A DANCER IN SEARCH OF A CLASS?
We hope you had as much fun the first week of classes as we did!
As with most organizations, word of mouth is our best advertisement.
If you know someone looking for a dance class, you could share this page with them.
We'd be grateful for you sharing with your friends how much your child loves dancing with us at MDA.
                                         Thanks in advance!
