It was in 1987 a year after buying an existing bakery and confectionery business based in Market
Drayton that ‘Image on Food’ produced their first gingerbread novelty biscuits, and, that is all
because their two year old daughter asked them to bake her a gingerbread “pig” with an iced pink
curly tail!! They had trialled different recipes over a period of time, and, whilst they made these to
sell in their shop and local market stalls, they got noticed. After a local tourist attraction requested
700 biscuits and sold out within 3 weeks... they realised that they had found a niche market! Still
running a busy bakers shop the gingerbread was produced alongside the baking of the bread,
morning goods, highly decorated cakes and gateaux’s. From 1997 – 2005 the business grew and as
well as selling to prestigious London stores, Independents & Distributors they were recognised by
winning National Awards.

Simpsons of Hawkhurts make Goupie, a devilishly moreish chewy chocolate confection, hand-produced by the husband & wife team of Janet and Joe Simpson. Each egg is filled with 100g of Goupie pieces and filled in a Faberge-style egg. These come in 36 different designs which are then packaged into a fully recyclable kraft card box and sealed with a sticker. The Solid Chocolate Company is based in Southwater, West Sussex, and is run by Simon and Liz Allison. Their solid chocolate eggs are unique and made up of 42 separate solid, bite-sized pieces, ideal for sharing - or as a gift for chocolate lovers. After many years tinkering to create a chocolate egg in the kitchen at home, they finally came up with the perfect mould. Terms & Conditions By ordering any goods from Love for Local the customer accepts these conditions of sale: PRICES The prices of Love for Local goods are those specified in this brochure, unless otherwise agreed. All prices are exclusive of VAT except where specified CARRIAGE CHARGES The minimum order value for free delivery is £125 (Net of VAT). Any order under this level will incur a £10 delivery charge. PAYMENT Payment for the goods by approved account customers must be made within 30 days of the date of invoice. Goods will not be dispatched if the account is not held up to date. All overdue accounts may be subject to charges related to the costs of debt collection. Property of the goods will not pass to the customer until the monies owing to Love for Local have been made in full. DELIVERY Delivery and the customer’s acceptance of the goods shall be deemed to have taken place upon the occurrence of a signed delivery note by the customer or any independent carrier. RETURNS No goods shall be returned without prior acceptance of Love for Local. Credit cannot be given for damaged or price marked goods. DELIVERY DISCREPANCIES Upon receipt of goods the customers have two working days to advise Love for Local of any damages or discrepancies that have arisen. Goods will be collected by Love for Local before a credit note is given. CANCELLATION OF GOODS If you wish to cancel an order or any items you must notify Love for Local in writing 48 hours in advance of delivery, and Love for Local must confirm any changes. ALL PRICES ARE CORRECT AT THE TIME OF PRINTING. PRICES MAY ALTER DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
