Our Workshop series kicked off on October 9 with a very informative session on auditioning for college theatre programs. Thanks to generous support from our Broadway in Columbus season subscribers, we make the experience of Broadway available to the next generation of theatre goers in central Ohio. Open to all public, private, and charter schools, this 2 021–2 2 program provides subsidized tickets to help educators use the power of Broadway to serve as a tool to enhance their SHOW S curriculum and make learning Applications opened in September fun. and educators were asked to supply information about their school, their classroom, and how they will connect the Broadway show to their classroom curriculum. A lesson plan demonstrating those curricular connections was also required. We are excited to welcome elementary, middle, and high school students to the Applause Program this season!

After graduating from Kent State, I spent two years as an English Sept. 20–Dec. 17 Passport to Learning, Hip Hop Body Rock with Paige Hernandez, Virtual language fellow in Colombia and Spain.
