ELEPHANT GIN
Elephant Gin produces award-winning
handcrafted dry gin and sloe gins made with
carefully selected ingredients that capture the spirit
of Africa.

AFRICAN TASTE, GERMAN QUALITY
Inspired by the traditional sundowner experience after a day out in the African
bush, Elephant Gin is produced for anyone with a taste for adventure.
Handcrafted in Germany and with high quality production standards, the gin
is distilled using 14 botanicals, including rare African ingredients, to create a
distinctive flavour profile. The taste is complex, yet strikingly smooth.
The company also gives back to what inspired the gin in the first place. Elephant
Gin contributes 15% of all proceeds to two African elephant foundations to
support the preservation of the African wildlife and help ensure that
future generations will also be able to explore these magnificent landscapes.

AFRICAN BOTANICALS
Elephant Gin is made with rare botanicals that haven’t been used in gin-making before.

PRODUCTION
Our production methods are resolutely artisan.

• The gin’s botanicals are hand-selected to ensure that only the highest quality ingredients are used.
• In a slow distillation process, all botanicals are then macerated for a whole day to extract the optimal level of flavour.
• We use a traditional copper distillation, and work in small batches to guarantee the best quality in every bottle.

                                                                                                                               5

ELEPHANT SLOE GIN
Elephant Sloe Gin
combines the taste of the premium
London Dry Gin with the classic
flavour of fresh sloe berries.
Macerated in the gin for several
months, these wild berries add a richly
rounded, lightly sweet and exquisitely
fruity bouquet as well as a typical
warm red colour to the spirit.

Compared to other sloe gins, Elephant
Sloe Gin has a relatively low sugar
content paired with a higher alcohol
volume of 35%. This makes it ideally
suited to mixing in cocktails as well as
enjoying it neat.

THE CAUSE
Elephant Gin gives back to the land that inspired the gin in the first place.
15% of all Elephant Gin proceeds are donated to support the work of three partner
foundations that are helping to save the African elephant from extinction.

                  DID YOU KNOW?
One African elephant dies every 15 minutes because of uncontrolled ivory
poaching. At this rate, the African elephant will be extinct in 10 years.
                                                                                              10
WORK WITH FOUNDATIONS
Elephant Gin has already contributed up to EUR350,000 to select projects.

At Big Life Foundation, Elephant Gin is funding 30 of 250
rangers that are currently protecting 2 million acres of wilderness
in Kenya by providing training, salary payments and equipments
such as rucksacks, tents and mosquito nets.

With Space for Elephants, Elephant Gin is focused on getting
communities involved by creating employment opportunities to
counter wildlife poaching. Among other project, Elephant Gin has built
an education center to train the community to learn about wildlife and
become entrepreneurs in the environmental, sales and tourism
business.

Exclusively with the miniatures, Elephant Gin supports The David
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust known as the most successful orphan-
elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. Its elephant
orphanage near Nairobi nurtures baby elephants who have been found
in the wild - often either left behind when their mother dies due to
poaching or other human intervention. Each baby elephant has a
dedicated team member to nurse them back to strength and to rear
them to join their own herd of ex-orphans.
