ENDURO TOUR MOROCCO ATLANTIC 2020
PROGRAM ENDURO TOUR MOROCCO 2020 Morocco is addictive! Everyone who experienced the magic of this varied country on one of our tours through the High Atlas will confirm this. It was therefore only a matter of time until we decided to add another Morocco tour to our program. Starting in Marrakech over the spectacular mountain pass Tizi N‘Test to Taroudant, through the Anti-Atlas with its bizarre rock formation, along lush palm oases to the blue South Atlantic with its red beaches, to Essaouira the white town on an extended rock above the ocean – be enchanted.

PLANNED ROUTE
• 1st stage: Marrakech - Taroudant (approx. 260 km – yellow line)
• 2nd stage: Taroudant – Tafraoute (approx. 220 km – blue line)
• 3rd stage: Tafraoute – Mirleft (approx. 250 km – red line)
• 4th stage: Mirleft – Souss Massa Nationalpark (approx. 140 km – brown line)
• 5th stage: Souss Massa Nationalpark – Essaouira (approx. 240 km – green line)
• 6th stage: Essaouira – Marrakech (approx. 250 km – white line)

1st STAGE Marrakech - Taroudant (approx. 260 KM) We leave Marrakech southwards on hilly trails, the High Atlas in front of us. We climb up to an altitude of 2100m where we reach the pass summit of the Tizi N‘Test. A breathtaking view awaits us! Our destination is Taroudant, the old capital of the Sous region, once an important stopping point for the caravans on their way to Timbuktu.
2nd STAGE Taroudant – Tafraoute (approx. 220 KM) Tafraoute is the heart of the Anti-Atlas. This sparse mountain range in between the rivers Sous and Dra borders the Sahara desert in the north. Lush palm oases contrasts with breathtaking, rugged mountains – one of the most beautiful areas in Morocco.
3rd STAGE Tafraoute – Mirleft (approx. 250 KM) From the colourful stones in Tafraoute, through the Ammel‘s Valley we continue on lonely trails to the Southwest, where we are welcomed by the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean. Often you will have a great view. In the evening we will sleep in an old fort, relaxing in the pool and see the great sun down.
4th STAGE Mirleft - Souss Massa National Park (approx. 140 KM) The Atlantic coast south of Agadir is impressing with isolated beaches and bizarre cliffs. The Souss-Massa national park is a nature reserve located at the mouth of the Massa River, boardered by high sandbars to the Atlantic Ocean. Sand covered paths lead us to phantastic view points along the cliffs . “Today in the afternoon we have the choice to relax on the beach or to improve our riding skills in sand.”
5th STAGE Souss Massa National Park - Essaouira (approx. 240 KM) Goats are climbing around the argana trees to eat the olive like fruits – traditional fishing villages where we enjoy the catch of the day – and the highlight of the day finally, Essaouira, the uniquely beautiful town on the Atlantic. The old town surrounded by castle walls, canons and battlements welcomes us for one night.
6th STAGE Essaouira - Marrakech (approx. 250 KM) Away from the main roads the loop closes and we return to Marrakech, the ‚Pearl of the Orient‘ with the atmosphere of ‚One Thousand and One Nights‘.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
On all our trips fun is our main goal. With the classification 1 helmet up to 3 helmets we would like to give you
an indication to evaluate your off-road riding skills, for the tour required.
Self-evaluation is not easy – but the final decision is made only by you.
Don`t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions. Our tourguides are all professionally trained
BMW instructors from the BMW Enduro Park Hechlingen. They are also at your disposal for further questions
about the trip or special informations about the routes.
= Enduro beginners and advanced enduro riders
Driving on asphalt, even on passes with narrow switchbacks are no problem for you. The off-road part is mostly
under 30 % of the total distance. The tour is easily manageable also for beginners.
Recommendation:
If you have no off-road experience at all, we recommend a 1-day-course in the BMW Enduro Park Hechlingen.
After that training course it is much easier for you to evaluate your skills and to figure out whether you have fun
riding off-road tracks.
= Advanced enduro riders
Driving on ashalt as well as on gravel, passes with narrow switchbacks (paved and gravel) are no problem for
you. Off-road experience is mandatory. The off-road part is mostly over 30 % of the total distance. Challenging
sections are possible.
Recommendation:
This tour is not applicable for participants without any off-road experiences. We recommend a 1- or 2-day
training course in the BMW Enduro Park Hechlingen.
= Very advanced enduro riders
This tour is suitable for drivers with advanced off-road experience and good fitness. The daily routes can be
pretty long. The tour has generally a lot of off-road parts including demanding and difficult routes.
Recommendation:
This tour is not recommended for participants without any off-road experiences. We recommend a 1- or 2-
