DAY 1 (L) HCMC & CU CHI TUNNELS
Morning, start the day with a visit to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, a network of
tunnels which stretched over 200 km. Cu Chi became legendary during the
1960's in playing a vital role in the Vietnam War by allowing Viet Cong
(communist guerillas) to control large rural areas, just 30 to 40 km away from
Sai Gon.
After lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant, we will visit some famous
landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City such as: War Remnants Museum,
Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Thien Hau
Pagoda in China Town.
Night tour (D) DINNER & WATER PUPPET SHOW
In the evening, we will begin our evening at a lovely restaurant for you to
enjoy a superb dinner. After dinner, we will make our way to the theater to
enjoy the Water Puppets Show in a pool of water with the water surface
being the stage. Water puppet shows are a staple and important part of
Vietnamese culture. You will also enjoy the Vietnamese orchestra which
provides the shows background music. The orchestra is manned by an array
of talented singers who are accompanied by professional musicians playing
traditional musical instruments. Watching the show allows you to learn more
about the Vietnamese rural life and folklore. Many of these programs,
especially those involving the tales of day-to-day living, often have a
humorous twist for you to enjoy. Overnight in HCMC.

2 FULL DAY & 1 NIGHT TOURS
DAY 1 (L) MEKONG DELTA – CAI BE FLOATING MARKET
The day will begin with a two-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong
Delta. Upon arrival, we will take a boat cruise to visit Cai Be Floating Market.
The floating market is one of the most interesting and exciting attractions to
visit in the Mekong Delta. At the floating market you can watch locals aboard
their small boats trading fresh goods and local commodities.
Leave Cai Be for Binh Hoa Phuoc Islet where the maze of shady creeks will
surely fascinate you. You will have a chance to linger amidst the local farmers,
learn the secrets of their bonsai gardening and sample local products. We will
continue to Vinh Long Town passing through the My Thuan Suspension Bridge
that sits high above the Mekong River from once side to the other. We will
then experience a traditional lunch meal at a local home prior to returning to
Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 2 (L) CAO DAI TEMPLE & BLACK LADY MOUNTAIN
Departing Ho Chi Minh City for Tay Ninh Province, an area near the
Vietnamese-Cambodian border. We will visit the Black Lady Mountain,
approximately 11 km northeast of Tay Ninh. We will take an exhilarating cable
cart ride to the top of the mountain. The cable cart ride will provide you with a
different perspective and panoramic view of this region. Black Lady Mountain
spreads over an area of 24 km, reaches an altitude of 986m, and consists of
three main mountains. The mountain contains temples and caves that are
used to house Buddhist monks and nuns; also places where they sustain their
religious lives, largely undisturbed.
We will then proceed to the Cao Dai Holy Temple, home to the unique Cao Dai
sect, whose patron saints include Sun Yat-Sen, Victor Hugo and Nguyen Binh
Khiem. The Cao Dai religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism,
and Christianity.
Night tour (D) DINNER & SIGHTSEEING ON BOARD
We will begin our evening at a restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious
dinner. After dinner, we will go to Bach Dang Wharf for sightseeing onboard.
Here, you can have an overview of Sai Gon’s night life, enjoy a fire dance
performance and traditional music performed by a band using traditional
musical instruments.
