Planning & Development Potential
A planning application (under ref: 2020/2095) has been approved at committee in April
2021 for the demolition of the existing office building and construction of 62 apartments,
as per the schedule of accommodation.

The proposed scheme will consist of 15 x 1 bedroom apartments, 26 x 2 bedroom
apartments and 21 x 3 bedroom apartments along with 96 car parking spaces.

The planning consent is subject to a Section 106 Agreement which sets out various
obligations including the provision of 25 apartments to be provided for Affordable
Housing (18 x Affordable Rent / 7 x Shared Ownership) plus a CIL payment in the region of
£406,773.

There is an existing planning consent for an alternative scheme of 11 houses and 40
apartments.
