DAY 1 | We will meet at the Virtu Ferries port at 05.00 am to catch the catamaran
leaving at 06.30 am. Upon arrival in Pozzallo, we will have a half-day excursion starting
from Modica, which is one of southern Sicily’s most distinctive towns which is mainly
renowned for its chocolate and coffee-making. After having a relaxing morning, we
will head to our hotel – 4* Le Magnolie Resort in Frigintini for check-in, have lunch
(included), and some free time to rest. Late afternoon, we will leave for Ragusa Ibla. This
city is famous for its incredible cultural attractions such as the Giardino Ibleo and St
George’s Cathedral. In Ragusa Ibla you will have enough time to roam around and dine
in one of Ragusa Ibla’s dining choices such as pizzerias, trattorias, and also restaurants
(extra). Pick-up and transfer to hotel, late evening.
DAY 2 | Breakfast will be taken at the hotel (included). Today we will have a full day
excursion with the first stop in the quaint island of Ortigia, in the historical heart of
Siracusa. One of the most famous squares in Sicily, Piazza Duomo, can be found in
this beautiful city of Ortigia, surrounded by magnificent baroque palaces, where you PRICE PER ADULT
will have time to relax, sit down for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Our next stop Group Group

Day 2 | Breakfast followed by a visit to San Lorenzo, one of the most beautiful old
villages in Italy. The next stop will be Molveno, where a cable car and chair lift (fee not
included) are available to reach the mountain top for a breath-taking view of Lake
Molveno surrounded by the spectacular Brenta Dolomites. Free time for a snack and
short walk before going back down to the lake. Options for paddle boat/kayak hire will
be available. Dinner at a nearby restaurant.
Day 3 | Breakfast followed by departure to the city of Trento – unique amongst the
Alpine cities. Free time to visit the historical city-center with its magnificent Duomo,
splendid piazza and fountain while roaming around its attractive narrow streets
and museums. Next stop will be at the medieval castle of Stenico (entrance fee not

baroque church in the world and famous UNESCO World Heritage Site – Church of
Peace. This is one of the two surviving Protestant churches built after the Peace of
Westphalia, which ended the so-called Thirty Years War (1618 – 1648). A short stop at
the pretty Market Square with its famous Baroque plague column will be followed by a
visit to Ksiaz to discover the late 13th century Gothic castle of Prince Bolko I. This castle
was rebuilt in the mid-16th century. It is now the largest castle in Silesia and the third
largest in Poland.
DAY 3 | Breakfast and check out from hotel followed by transfer to Krakow. On the way
the first stop will be in Oswiecim, a small Silesian town, known worldwide as Auschwitz.
At the edge of the town there are three gruesome areas of the former Nazi death camps
that now make up an impressive Holocaust Memorial and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This visit will include a stop at Auschwitz I and Birkenau, the second and less frequented
extermination camp. Before arriving in Krakow, there will also be a stop to visit the
Musuem of John Paul II in Wadowice.
DAY 4 | A full day tour by a professional and knowledgeable guide to explore Krakow. The
tour will explore Krakow Old Town, which was on UNESCO’s first list of World Heritage
Sites in 1978, the Main Market Square which is the largest in Europe, the oldest shopping
mall Sukiennice Cloth Hall and St Mary’s Church with a magnificent Gothic wooden altar
by Wit Stwosz. Other points of attraction will include Wawel Hill with Royal Castle and its
Cathedral, where Polish kings were crowned and buried, and Kanoniczna and Grodzka
Streets where the ancient Jagiellonian University areas are found. The afternoon will be
dedicated to a trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the most outstanding attractions in
Europe and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour of the mine leads through
galleries and chambers located on three levels, from 64 to 135 meters below ground
level, including the unique and splendidly adorned Chapel of the Blessed Kings.
DAY 5 | This day will be dedicated to Ojcow Park – the smallest National Park in Poland
and a land of natural beauty full of caves, unusual limestone cliffs, ravines and Jurassic
rock formations such as the “Cracovian Gate” and “Club of Hercules”. There will also be
a visit to a very well-preserved Renaissance Castle – Pieskowa Skala, situated among
forests on a hill overlooking the picturesque Pradnik River valley. The castle is a branch
of the Wawel Royal Castle in Krakow. On returning to Krakow, the tour will stop at
Kazimierz, one of Krakow’s flagship districts and important centre of cultural life of the
city. These days this is the place to be for artists, interesting projects and delicious meals
at fine restaurants.
DAY 6 | Full day trip to Zakopane, the principal Polish mountain resort located at the
foot of the majestic Tatra mountains (more than 2,000 metres above sea level). Time to
admire the local wooden architecture before hopping into a cable car to Mt. Gubalowka,
one of the most beautiful peaks in the Tatras, to view the dramatic scenery. During the
day, there will be enough time for souvenir hunting along Krupowki Street in Zakopane,
the central area full of local shops, restaurants, cafes and boutiques.
Day 7 | Depart from Krakow for transfer to Warsaw. On the way, stop to visit the famous
Pauline Monastery of Jasna Góra in the city of Częstochowa. This is the most important
Catholic shrine in Poland for the veneration of the Virgin Mary. The image of the Black
Madonna of Częstochowa, also known as Our Lady of Częstochowa, to which miraculous
powers are attributed, is one of Jasna Góra’s most precious treasures. Pilgrims arrive here
throughout the year from around the world. Even for the non-religious, the monastery
is an impressive display of Polish piety and patriotism. A tour led by a resident Pauline
monk will explore the hidden secrets of the monastery.

highlights such as the business district of Warsaw and the monumental Palace of
Culture and Science towering above the tallest building in Poland. The historical Royal
Route is paved with magnificent palaces, churches and monuments, including the
Presidential Palace, University of Warsaw, Basilica of the Holy Cross with Fryderyk
Chopin’s heart and the Statue of Copernicus. The tour will include a stop by the Royal
Castle and a stroll through the Old Town which was carefully reconstructed after the
World War II according to original plans (today listed as a UNESCO World Heritage
Site). On Wednesdays, admission to the Royal Castle is free. In the afternoon, visit
the Royal Lazienki Park, which was King Stanislaw August’s summer residence. This
magical place offers classicist architecture symphonically blended with wonderful
gardens, such as the Palace on the Water and the Amphitheatre.
DAY 9 | Transfer to Gdansk, with a tour of Torun Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage
Site) on the way. This historical city is abundant in original Gothic structures that
survived numerous wars and invasions, including a magnificent town hall, medieval
fortification walls and the Polish “leaning tower of Pisa”. In the middle of the Old
Town there is the Living Museum of Gingerbread, welcoming all those who want
to learn about the tradition of baking gingerbreads in Torun, the history of the city
and its medieval culture. The atmosphere is fantastic with a great deal of humour.
Participants can also try baking gingerbread in one of the traditional wooden moulds
themselves.
Day 10 | Full day tour of Gdansk. Gdansk’s past as the richest Polish port city has
given it the present day status as a favourite tourist destination in Poland. Explore the
marvellous Old Town of Gdansk including the Long Market Square with its Renaissance
style burgher houses, the Main Town Hall, the wonderful Neptune Fountain and
Artus Court, the meeting hall of merchants in the times of the Hanseatic League.
Visit the Green Gate, the Golden Gate and the biggest redbrick church in Europe, St.
Mary’s Church. Walk along Mariacka Street, famous for its charming terraces full of
amber jewellery and finally stop at the famous Gdansk Shipyards, the birthplace of
the Solidarity movement led by Lech Walesa. In the afternoon visit Oliwa, a district PRICE PER ADULT
of Gdansk, to admire a beautiful 13th-century Cathedral famous for its impressively
