18 THANK YOU TO ALL OUR AMAZING PARTNERS WHO
HAVE SUPPORTED US IN 2018.WHY I’M
SUPPORTING
THE PERKINS
Hi there, I’m Ciara and this year I’m taking part in the
Perth Running Festival to challenge my fitness and
support the Perkins.
I am passionate about breast cancer research because
I have seen too many people near to me be affected
by this disease, and I want to make a difference by
fundraising and giving back.
As a cancer researcher at the Perkins, I know
that fundraising is a key way I can fight against
this very unfair disease. I am passionate about
finding better treatment options for breast cancers,
especially those with poor prognosis.
Participating in the Perth Running Festival will be
special for me because I get to join the community
in this fight.
I am so grateful to everyone for getting around such an amazing cause and fundraising
because every single dollar counts. I look forward to seeing you out there on the run!
PhD Student, Breast Cancer Researcher
