Beer festival and musical performances
A great party to toast with friends and listen to beautiful music, starting at 6.00pm.
At 9.00 pm, two concerts with free admission:
- Dino Gnassi Band, at the Notevolo Restaurant stage;
- Vergian Reggae, at the Il Casotto kiosk stage.
At 10.00pm the party continues with the concert by Michele Luppi's Mr Pig. A Hard Rock repertoire that ranges
from classics such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Guns 'n' Roses, Bon Jovi, up to Mr Big and Dream Theater.
The Mr Pig concert takes place in the Arena Spazio Spettacoli SGR and is the only paid event, with admission €
10 including a free beer. The ticket can be purchased on the spot.
It is possible to dine in the two rooms of the Parco degli Artisti (the Notevolo Restaurant and the Il Casotto
piadineria-crostineria kiosk).
The event is organized in collaboration between the Sorridolibero APS Association, the Notevolo Restaurant, Il
Casotto Kiosk, the Rimini Classica APS Association.

eternal present, with a huge event for children and adults who don't want to grow up. Green areas will become
Kensington Gardens; water fountains will turn into the gardens' lake - the Serpentine - where the adults' boat will
sail, with sailboats crossing the sky. The Tower will become an island - the Birds' Island. From the end of June to
mid-August, a live show with flying choreographies, images, music and words will bring magic and astonishment
to this dream square, by FestiGroup with Monica Manimone's Direction.
On the evenings of performances, the Fellini Museum, Galli Theater and the PART - Palazzi dell’arte Rimini will
be open to the public extraordinarily 8 pm to midnight, with free admission.

Marecchia Social Fest
A musical journey among the six albums by the artist Filippo Malatesta, the last of which is entitled 'Sopra la
Polvere', from 2019, as well as some tributes to his most loved artists, including De André and U2.
The singer and author of Verucchio is accompanied on stage by Gianluca Barberini on drums, Andrea Bartolini on
bass, Francesco Sancisi on keyboards, Massimo Marches on guitar, Claudia Comandini on percussion and
choirs.
Before the concert, to celebrate the August 15th in advance, a dinner is proposed in the park. The food stand
offers a risotto with clams and mussels.

The event is part of the Genderful-Bodies / Identities project and stems from the consideration that gender identity
is increasingly "fluctuating" in contemporary society.
The show is made in collaboration with the Central Movement Teatro Danza and with the Diversamente Danzanti
Collective.
Through the dance and clothes of the stylist Simon Cracker, between light effects and sounds, we witness the
alternation of bodies and clothes as instruments of freedom, where there are no limits of age, size, male or
female.

Re-enactment of the historical fishing: La Tratta

Demonstration of the Rimini maritime tradition by “Rimini per tutti” ONLUS Association
The initiative is an opportunity to discover the sea traditions of Rimini through a re-enactment of the fishing
technique 'La Tratta', a "poor" fishing technique that was in use on the coast from ancient time until the 1950s.
This kind of fishing will be proposed in a practical demonstration with the aim to keep alive the local tradition and
discover the ancient fishing in the Adriatic sea, which has always been a main resource for the seafarer
population in Rimini.
After the fishing demonstration, there will be a tasting of grilled fish, cooked according to the ancient local
tradition, accompanied by 'piada' and local wine.
Anyone wishing to become a fisherman for a day and relive the ancient tradition of 'La Tratta' can just go to the
beach in the afternoon, around 3.00 pm, to prepare for the descent and participate in the collection of the nets on
the following days:
- on July 16 at the Bagni Ricci in Miramare (142)
- on 31 July at Bagno 68 (Lagomaggio area)
- on 21 August at Bagno 89 Caldari

The title of this edition is "Passion for mankind", created by the Meeting for friendship among peoples of Rimini,
the largest cultural and youth event in all of Europe and by the Mei-Meeting of independent labels in Faenza, the
the most important national scouting platform on the independent and emerging Italian scene.
The artists are asked to present two songs: a cover and an original song that addresses the theme of the 2022
Meeting "A passion for mankind".
The 8 semifinalists perform on the Palco Piscine of the Rimini Fair on 21 and 22 August 2022 on the occasion of
the 43rd edition of the Rimini Meeting.
The final is presented by Lorenzo Baglioni and takes place on 24 August 2022. The winner can perform at MEI 25
which is held in Faenza from 30 September to 2 October.
For the occasion, a Jury of Honor is composed by Grazia Di Michele, Lorenzo Baglioni and Hu, who also perform
live, and other representatives of the recording and music sector, together with the coordinators Giordano

Summer festival with events, exhibits, music and shows. A markedly international festival, a melting pot of
culturally-diverse accounts and experiences: this unique event tackles crucial topics, in a free open dialogue with
the most interesting cultural, political and religious figures.
The title of the 43rd edition is 'A passion for the person'. In times of great uncertainty, the challenge of how to
live touches everyone; the courage to get involved once again, the need to build authentic relationships with
anyone who becomes part of our human trajectory, are decisive elements in order not to succumb.
A packed program of events, among which there is the Meeting Music Contest - 2nd edition of the musical contest
for young artists and bands, and the inaugural show inspired by one of the precious theatrical texts by G.K.
Chesterton, "The Surprise".

Cultural walk from the Arch of Augustus to the Tiberius Bridge
The summer cultural walk entitled Notturno d'Arte is back again this year, amidst fascinating lights and nights,
between the avenues and squares of the historic center.
An encounter with the history and monuments of Rimini, revealing their beauty and importance: the Arch of
Augustus, the Malatesta Temple, Castel Sismondo, the Tiberius Bridge with the new Piazza sull'Acqua.
The events of illustrious personalities linked to the city are also remembered: from Julius Caesar to the emperor
Augustus, from Francesca da Rimini to Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, up to Federico Fellini.
Curated by Michela Cesarini, art historian and licensed guide. Reservations are required within the day before the
visit.

On the beach of Rimini
Scenic lighting effects able to amaze and leave children and adults speechless: these are the Fireworks, still
protagonists of great shows organized by the Local Tourist Committees on the beach of Rimini.
Evening event on the occasion of the Pink Night, when on Friday 1 July at midnight, the fireworks on the sea
illuminate the whole coast in unison.
In Rimini there are three points, between the beach of Rimini North (Bath resort 29 Viserba) - South (bath resort
98-99) and Marina Centro (harbour area Molo Rock Island pier).

City Museum: In the mountains the shortest way is from peak to peak

Exhibition of the works by Chiara Maria Surami and Santiago Sambuci
On the second floor of the New Wing of the City Museum, the exhibition entitled ‘Sui Monti via più breve è da
vetta a vetta’/’ On the mountains the shortest way is from peak to peak’, with works by Chiara Maria Surami and
Santiago Sambuci, young artists, students of the Naba, Nuova Accademia di Fine Arts of Milan (Department of
Painting and Visual Arts).
Large-format paintings on canvas (Santiago Sambuci) with strong pictorial gestures are displayed together with
three-dimensional terracotta objects referring to ancient sacred rituals and symbolic parts of the body (Chiara
Maria Surami).
The two artists alternate their works in a fluid path. On the one hand, the theme of the body and its fetishes, the
feminine and life-germinating imprint, ancestral and sacral, on the other, in a counter canto, the large canvases
with an open and gestural pictorial sign that discover the approach to life and transcribe the lived experience.
The proposed works are the result of an integration between two languages, that of painting and that of the
manipulation of the material that transforms clay into sculpture.
The artists intend to involve the observer as an active user, with a view to experimentation and pupils,
encouraged and followed by teachers Adrian Paci and Marco Scotini, Visual Arts Department head of the Milan
Academy.
