Rimini City Tours, the guided tours through the city organized by Visit Rimini, continue with appointments on
Saturday at 3.30 pm, and Sunday, at 10.30am. The tours, which can be booked last minute, will depart from the

Rimini was chosen by the Ministry of the Interior, in agreement with the CDEC Foundation, as the City of
Remembrance 2021, which hosts the official initiatives dedicated to the commemoration of the Shoah.
Among the appointments, on Wednesday 27 January, at 10 am the official commemorative ceremony takes place
at the monument dedicated to the victims of the Nazi concentration camps and all imprisonments in the "Ai Caduti
nei Lager 1943-1945" Park, and, at 6 pm, on Radio O.R.A. (www.officinariminiarte.it) and on the site
memoria.comune.rimini.it a homage to Primo Levi, through the reading in ten different languages ??(Italian,
French, English, German, Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Albanian, languages ??spoken by the
communities present in Rimini) of Shemà, taken from 'If this is a man', as a powerful warning on the return of
violence and hate (video made by DIANE | ilaria shoe_luca telleschi).
Furthermore, starting from January 26 at 6 pm, on the website www.cdec.it, there is an online exhibition organized
by the CDEC Contemporary Jewish Documentation Center Foundation in Milan, which will remain accessible on

A tribute to Dante Alighieri in the VII century of his death and to Francesca, worldwide heroine of love passion
Rimini participates in the celebrations for the seven hundred years celebrations since the death of Dante Alighieri
with a series of initiatives as part of the "Francesca 2021" project, conceived and promoted by Francesca da
Rimini International Study Center.
Aimed at recovering attention to history, arts, memory and, above all, to the positive values that Francesca
represents, the project involves the ancient territories of the Malatesta, between the regions of Emilia-Romagna
and Marche, with a rich program of exhibitions, shows, events, educational activities, guided tours ...
Among the initiatives of international importance, the original BACI DAL MONDO / Worldwide
Kisses Ecumenic flash mob: a tribute to Dante and Francesca da Rimini on the seventh centenary of the poet's
death. If March 21, 2021 will be the "Dante day", March 8, 2021 will be the "Francesca day", with an entire day
dedicated to Francesca da Rimini, the most beloved character of the Comedy, which will involve students and
teachers from twenty-one universities from the five continents to recite, animate and comment the fifth Canto from
the Inferno/Hell in the language of their country.
The universities will be involved with live streaming connections from 9.30 am to evening, Italian time zone: from
Adelaide to Siena, from Paris to Sao Paulo, from Quito to Ekaterinburg, from Friborg to Buenos Aires, from
Ravenna to Shanghai, from Rimini to New York, from Barcelona to Los Angeles, from Göttingen to Toronto, from
Amsterdam to Johannesburg.
The direction of the event will be held at the Amintore Galli Theater in Rimini.

The national event for the indoor season, the Italian Indoor Archery Championship, organized by the company

Exhibition as part of the Exposition on Photography at the City Museum
TIME TO RESUME is part of the usual annual review dedicated to Photography. This year the theme will be the
increasingly intricate interweaving of photography and painting. Within the exhibition on the first floor in the new
wing of the city museum, among others, an unusual intervention by Vittorio D'Augusta that starts from a photo to
unfold his pictorial narration, a resume exhibition of these years by Isabella Balena and last but not least a gem by
Italo Di Fabio, the historical prototype of the Italian and Rimini-born photo-amateur presented by riminisecondotre.

Installation of lights on the water at Tiberious Bridge for Luxmas
From 5 December, a true tribute to experimental contemporary design will illuminate the surface of the suare on
the water near Tiberius Bridge, with a light installation by one of the most interesting studios on the Italian creative
scene.
The Municipality of Rimini, in collaboration with the Open Laboratory, commissioned the designer Gio Tirotto,
project 208, a light installation on the water that laps the Bridge of Tiberius, in Borgo San Giuliano. Curated by
Maria Cristina Didero, 208 is a public installation with a universal message, an imposing and evocative light
sculpture that can be enjoyed by all. 208 are the nations of the world and 208 are the buoys in the large basin
near the Tiberius Bridge.
Gio Tirotto's buoys live in their natural element, but, out of their original functionality, they gain a completely
symbolic one: hope and desire of a finally united world. Absorbing the sunlight during the day, at dusk the opal
rhombuses of 208 begin their light dance transforming the surrounding landscape into an unusual symphony of
flashes.
The installation, which started as part of the 'Luxmas' Christmas initiatives, will remain to illuminate the waters of
the reservoir until late spring, accompanying the initiatives for the 2000th anniversary of Tiberius Bridge (21 -
2021).

Sintonie High End, the main event in Italy dedicated to the best of high fidelity, video, consumer electronics and

Two temporary exhibitions on the occasion of the opening of the PART of Rimini
Started on 24 September 2020 and reopened on February 1st after the long closing of museums for restrictions
against Covid, two temporary exhibitions take place alongside the opening of the Part - Palazzi dell’Arte, in Rimini,
in the central Piazza Cavour. The new museum site that brings together in a single project the redevelopment of
the historic Palazzi dell'Arengo and del Podestà, where the contemporary art collection of the San Patrignano
Foundation is exhibited.
The first exhibition located in space1, on the first floor of the Palazzo del Podestà, is called [APARTE]
'Convivium', with the works by Francesco Bocchini, Vittorio D'Augusta, Luca Giovagnoli, Marco Neri, Nicola
Samorì. The second exhibition is set up in space2, on the second floor, and collects recent works by Denis Riva,
with the title 'Magna Carta', curated by Massimo Pulini. The artists have joined an exhibition whose common
thread is the relationship between human and art, each with its own character and artistic imprint such as:

The Film Festival in Rimini
The Rimini Film Festival is organized by Confindustria Romagna, Cinema Fulgor, University of Bologna - Science

of ANICA. The event returns again in 2021 with the aim of continuing to support and disseminate the culture and

The first time of the Penne Nere ('black feathers') in Rimini, on the centenary of the national gathering
The 'Black feathers' (this is how the Italian mountain troops are nicknamed) arrive for the first time on the
Riviera.
It will be a special edition because 100 years have passed since the first spontaneous meeting of the Alpine
troops.
A record participation is expected. The 2020 gathering will in fact be the first in Italy and abroad, involving the
territory including San Marino and it is estimated that around 500 thousand people will partecipate. The highlightEVENTI

will be the great parade with one hundred thousand 'Black feathers', among the approximately 350 thousand
registered in the Ana, divided into 110 sections, 80 in Italy and 30 abroad.
Among them there will also be 4,500 members of the Bolognese-Romagna section of the Ana "Angelo Manaresi",
chaired by Vittorio Costa, who also includes citizens from the Republic of San Marino.
The gathering, at first scheduled for May 2021 in Rimini, has been postponed to September to cope with
coronavirus emergency.
