         Ordered, That upon the conclusion of morning business on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, the Senate
proceed to executive session and resume consideration of the nomination of Anne A. Witkowsky, of Maryland, to
be an Assistant Secretary of State (Conflict and Stabilization Operations).
         Ordered further, That with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on the Witowsky, the mandatory
quorum call required under Rule XXII be waived.
         Ordered further, That at 12 noon the Senate vote on confirmation of the nomination of Gabriel P.
Sanchez, of California, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit, and the Senate vote on
confirmation of the nomination.
         Ordered further, That if the nomination is confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and
laid upon the table and the President be immediately notified of the Senate’s actions.
         Ordered further, That upon disposition of the Sanchez nomination, the Senate recess until 2:15 p.m. to
allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
         Ordered further, That the Senate vote on confirmation of the nomination of Holly A. Thomas, of
California, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit at a time to be determined by the Majority
