Your success is our top priority and
we want to ensure that you are able to
maximize your time while at NMSU.
Living on campus provides many benefits
and rewards not found anywhere else,

    Our first-year residency requirement
provides an enriched living environment
for first-year students. However, we
understand that in some circumstances
students may have a need to commute
from their parents/guardian’s home, or
have other special circumstances.

PLAN YOUR VISIT TO NMSU
Finding the college that truly fits you is the key to success. Let us
show you why NMSU is the best university for you!

Campus Visit
You and a few of your family members will find out that experiencing
NMSU first-hand is a great way to see what we have to offer. Campus
visits are available year-round, with daily sessions Monday through
Friday.
A typical campus visit lasts two hours and may include
presentations, a personalized academic info session, a guided tour by a
current student and a preview of academic buildings, residence halls and
recreation facilities.
As excited as we are to have you and your family on campus, your
safety is our number one priority. As we continue to navigate this new
normal, we have put in place alternative methods for you to experience
NMSU. Our goal will always be to welcome you to our campus, but in
the event that we can’t meet face-to-face, we will be #together but far
apart. Go to admissions.nmsu.edu/visit for more information.
