SAILING EXPERIENCE 2hrs
Includes:
• 2 hour sailing experience
• A unique opportunity to participate as crew on an actual America’s
Cup yacht. Take the helm, exert energy on the grinders or sit back,
relax and enjoy the sail
• Guidance from our professional crew who will show you the ropes
• No sailing experience necessary

Raced by Japan in 1995, came Originally commissioned in Germany
second in the Louis Vuitton Challenge in 2003, Team New Zealand acquired
to Team New Zealand. her and used her as a trial boat
prior to their 2007 America’s Cup

November - March 11:00am or 2:00pm**
April - October 1:00pm daily
(Additional weekly departure at 2:00pm every Thursday, December-February)
*Minimum age is 10, child is 10-15 years.
**2pm sailing is a 3 hour match race on Saturdays. It is also a match race on
Thursdays from December to February. Additional departure times may be
available - please contact us for all sailing times.

MATCH RACE 3hrs
Includes:
• 3 hour sailing experience, as close as you can get to an
America’s Cup race
• Guidance from our professional crew who will show you the ropes
• No experience necessary
Need to know:
• The America’s Cup Match Race operates November-March
• Please wear a light jacket and flat soled shoes
• Please check in for your trip 15 minutes prior to departure
• This trip is suitable for children 10 years and over
• Participation is not compulsory if you prefer to sit back and
watch the action
• The experience includes a full safety briefing before departure

Conditions permitting, races
are sailed on a windward
leeward course and with a
starting sequence as in the
America’s Cup.

• Commentary from our knowledgeable crew who will share local
insights into the harbour and its history

under the Harbour Bridge
• Opportunity to help the crew sail this 50ft monohull sailing yacht
• Your choice of fresh coffee, tea or a hot chocolate plus a delicious
sweet treat

Enjoy your meal as you sail around the beautiful Auckland Harbour
taking in the view as the city lights up.

Marina. Choose between a casual dinner in the downstairs cabin or
take in the iconic sights of the Auckland Harbour while you eat on
deck. A decadent dessert will then be yours to savour as you set sail.

Steinlager 2 or Lion New Zealand. For those who want to Lion New Zealand: 78ft 112ft 30
