welcome
Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the Faculty of Dentistry, RCSI’s a) CPD Postgraduate Lecture Programme,
now in its tenth year, and b) Paediatric Speciality Dental Education Programme, now in
its fourth year.
The Faculty is fully committed to facilitating postgraduate education as a pillar of its
activities. We do so through delivering postgraduate lecture programmes, taught courses,
and the exciting ongoing development of online resources and connectivity. These
resources constitute part of the new benefits for our affiliates, members, fellows, and are
scheduled to be operational in the early months of 2020, so watch this space.
The purpose of the CPD programme is to provide a learning opportunity for dentists and
their team members away from the busy dental practice or other working environments, to
allow them to update their knowledge in a comfortable environment, and also to facilitate
those who are actively pursuing additional postgraduate qualifications.
Professor Albert Leung
