2019 More Changes at Hanbury’s.
anbury’s famous fish and chips has been a fixture in Babbacombe for nearly 38 years and is
H now one of the best known businesses on the English Riviera.
We now fry all our fish and chips in the Restaurant in gluten free batter. We continue to use
Sunflower oil with less than 8% saturated fat. These two factors allow our meals to be more easily
digested. We recently purchased a Swiss Grill which now allows us to offer grilled fish to ‘die for’.
Earlier in the year we launched our own Hanbury’s Craft Lager, made to our own recipe, and is
now available in 330ml bottles, a great accompaniment with our fish and chips.
Also we have added Sausage, Mash and Onion Gravy and Gammon Steak, Egg and Chips, two
english favourites, to our menu to give more choice for meat eaters.
We sincerely hope that our regulars will like the changes and that our new customers will be
impressed and want to return again and again.

It’s what we built our reputation on. Generous cuts of succulent fish coated in our delicious
gluten free (GF) batter cooked at very high temperatures in Sunflower oil sealing in the
flavours. All fish is served with a wedge of lemon, freshly cut chips or Jacket Potato or
Mashed Potato or Crunchy Salad and Homemade Tartare Sauce.
