trucks, but never liked the
original state of them.. slow

always dreamed to have
one of those trucks that was
a driver that’s fun and fast

I bought this 54 1/2 ton I scratch

(used old ac Delco oil filters with a timing chain, clutch fork
(mounted a screen on the clutch fork as a back up camera)
Subaru WRX clutch/ brake pedal assembly, booster and master
cylinder completely stripped off every single wire and com-
pletely rewired the entire truck front to back.
I literally did EVERYTHING to this truck, paint and all,
100% by myself in five months. (OK– my wife helped me
install the windshield and she helped me carry the bed off the
frame and put it back on...)
I don’t own a shop/garage, but I am very proud of the truck,
so I made a stencil of our last name on the sides of the doors to
make it look like a old shop truck as a finishing touch.

Over the years, the Cruise Guide has done our best to get by Dave –
bundles of magazines out to various clubs and organizations.
Due to recent financial strains on this publication, it would be
nice to get some help with the distribution expense. Some
clubs already pay for the delivery service, and some run ads
that help with the shipping costs, which I appreciate.
For 2021, I am asking for a donation to partially pay the
shipping costs to your club.
There are 6 issues a year. For 25 copies each time please
send $75; and for 50 copies send $100 for the complete
season. If you purchase ads for your events, we will include
