YOUTH BABYSITTING/CPR CLASS
This eight-hour action packed course is open to youth ages 10-15. Students will learn the
fundamentals of childcare including feeding and diapering, child safety such as choking
emergencies and home hazards. Participats will also learn CPR/AED for Adult, Child, and
Infant. This is a great class to build confidence as they enter the exciting world of babysitting
or if they are starting to stay home alone for the first time. Students will need to bring a
lunch/beverage the day of the class.

KidStage participants will work on developing self-confidence and building stage presence
through a variety of acting exercises and drama activities with the goal of getting each
KidStage® kid to be loud and proud in a KidStage® Showcase. At the end of each session a

FALL YOUTH DANCE AND ACROBATICS PROGRAM 2020-2021
September 14, 2020 - March 2021
Unity Dance Academy (UDA) is a non-competitive dance program offered by Appleton
Parks and Recreation. UDA is a family-oriented dance studio where everyone feels
welcome. Our goal is simple: to offer superior instruction in a wide variety of dance DANCE ACADEMY
genres. Class & skill level descriptions along with attire requirements, and
etiquette/expectations are available at www.appletonparkandrec.org.
Registration received after August 23rd will require an additional $10 fee.
Final deadline for all registration is September 21!

ABOUT OUR YOUTH SPORTS LEAGUES: ADULT FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE

FIRST AID AND CPR
The primary purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants
recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this
program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill
person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
