Welcome to the 8th Annual DUC Sturgeon Classic in
Chilliwack, British Columbia
First off, we would like to congratulate Ducks Unlimited
Canada on its continued efforts! The tournament will
definitely be one of the highlight events this year and we
are glad that you will be sharing in the fun. We have some
great fishing, fun and surprises planned for you. The
competition will be intense and the rewards great. Here is
your chance to win the Grand Prize for the largest White
Sturgeon caught and other amazing prizes. You'll be on the
edge of your seat for the entire tournament.

Attached in this Welcome Package are: links to maps for
meeting locations, suggestions of what to bring and other
important tournament information.

Good competition, great camaraderie and a worthy cause
are the cornerstones of the tournament and we are proud
to be partnered with Ducks Unlimited Canada for this event
and we couldn't think of a worthier cause.

We can't wait to see you at this year's competition! It is
truly anyone's guess where the winning fish will be caught
and who will be crowned the 2018 Sturgeon Classic Winner.

PURCHASE YOUR FRESHWATER FISHING LICENSES:
Each angler is required to purchase and have in their possession the proper fishing license while
fishing. You will be required to buy TWO Licences - ONE for each day fishing. 1-day freshwater
basic angling license and a 1-day Sturgeon Conservation Stamp (these for each day) CLICK HERE

Hotel Rooms are based on team members sharing a room (This means 1 room @ double
occupancy is included). You must advise us if you require two separate rooms (single rooms). If
you have any special dietary requests, please let us know!

  Itinerary – Arrival – Thursday September 5, 2019
  3:00pm - 7:00pm – Arrive at Hotel – Room and Tournament Check-in
  7:30pm - 10:30pm – Social night with cocktails and appetizers – Welcome and Guide Draw
 *Hospitality Suite will be open from 4:30 - 7:30pm and 9:30pm – late

  Itinerary – Day 1 – Friday September 6, 2019
  6:30am – Breakfast in the banquet room for all anglers (Tournament Check-in for local
  clients) 8:00am – Meet the buses in front of the Hotel for transportation to boat launch
  8:30am – 4:30pm STURGEON FISHING *(back to the dock by 4:30pm)
  4:30pm – All boats must be back to designated meeting location to hand official day’s stats
  4:30pm – 6:30pm - BBQ at Island 22 for tournament participants
  6:45pm – Buses return to the Best Western Hotel!
 *Hospitality Suite will be open from 7:00pm – late

  Itinerary – Day 2 – Saturday September 7, 2019
  6:30am – Breakfast in the banquet room for all anglers (Tournament Check-in for local
  clients) 8:00am – Meet the buses in front of the Hotel for transportation to boat launch
  8:30am – 4:00pm STURGEON FISHING *(back to the dock by 4:30pm)
  4:30pm – All boats must be back to designated meeting location to hand official day’s stats
  4:30pm – Buses return 6:00pm - 10:00 pm – Award presentation, Banquet Dinner, Cocktails
 * Hospitality Suite will be open after the Banquet – 12 am last
 call
