Our experienced, cross-disciplinary team works on a vast array of projects, ranging from new show development to licensing existing shows and talent management. With an office in Amsterdam and an ever-expanding network of partners worldwide, GEA has been producing creative projects across the globe since 2003. In its early years GEA mainly acted as a producer of international theatrical tours for international titles such as De La Guarda, Cirque Mechanics, Fuego! – The Spanish Dance Spectacular, The Official Westend Production of The Blues Brothers, Hair – The Musical, Ghost Stories and the massively successful French rock-opera Notre Dame De Paris. The company also extensively worked on booking and promoting international concert and festival engagements with numerous international artists such as Christina Aguilera, Earth, Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang, The Scorpions, Sean Paul, Jim Belushi, Sir Tom Jones, The Simple Minds, Chaka Khan, Laura Pausini, Grace Jones, Gloria Gaynor and countless smaller acts. The cooperation with the late Maestro Morricone, which began in 2012 and the phenomenal success that followed, saw a shift in the company’s focus to film music as a genre. In recent years GEA has produced and still produces touring live screenings with orchestra and choirs of major motion pictures such as The Godfather, La La Land, The Hunger Games and Paddington. In November and December 2017 GEA produced the first ever concert tour of Hollywood composer James Newton Howard, which opened at London’s Royal Albert Hall and toured 15 European cities. The tour was hosted live on stage by Priscilla Presley and spanned 20 arenas in 13 countries. Since its inception in 2003, GEA has produced and delivered live entertainment projects and artists in over 28 countries worldwide. Ending the tour in style, Moroder performed at 4 festivals all over Europe in the summer of 2019, with a hugely successful finale at Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands. In the past two years, before the Maestro deceased, the company has been working with him and his son Andrea on the creation of a new celebratory concert of his works. This concert, which is entitled Ennio Morricone - The Official Concert Celebration, will be a unique, large scale arena production with a music program of the Maestro’s most famous and most favourite works.
