NOTE: If an event has 3 or less entries, only points of winner will be

1. Republic Day Photography
The Maximum No. of submissions per person is 2.
Theme: India(Flag, Monuments, Army, etc.)
Submission deadline: 11:59 PM, 30 January.
Other rules and regulations:
● Photographs must be clicked after 25th January.
● You must be following arturo_iitrpr on Instagram and Facebook.
● All the entries should be submitted at arturo@iitrpr.ac.in with the subject: Republic
day photography.
● Participants can add captions to their entries. A maximum of 30 words can be used. The
caption should be written in a word/pdf file and submitted along with the photographs.
● Photographs must contain EXIF data. The entry shall be disqualified if not followed.
● You can use any camera.
● Do not include your credentials (Name, Watermark, Date, etc) in the frame of the
photograph.
● Photographs should not contain any objectionable content, if found, the entry will be
disqualified by judges’ consent.
● In photo editing only global editing i.e. cropping and adjustment of hue/saturation;
brightness/contrast levels are allowed. Photo-morphing, manipulations or is not allowed. ●

relevant (themes+quality) pictures will be considered and only those pictures will be posted
on Instagram.

61. Time Limit: 1min maximum and 30-sec minimum
2. One person can submit only 1 video.
3. Make sure your video is according to Instagram’s aspect ratio (4:5 preferred)
4. Only New videos will be posted and considered for judging.
5. You can use your preferred video editing software, make sure the audio is
properly audible and synchronized with the video.
6. It can be any song of any genre, ALL DANCE FORMS will be welcomed.
NOTE: If fake likes and shares are reported than the entry will be
disqualified. And make sure, whoever likes your video, is following
D.cypher’s Instagram page.
8. The final marking will be relative.
9. Winners will be announced on Dance Club and BOCA Instagram pages.
10. In case any adversarial situation arises, the decision of the Club
Representative will be final and binding.

The rules for the event are as follows:
All entries are to be mailed in the given format and we will be uploading your video on

Each year has to submit three video links. Any ‘one’
participant has to mail all three links.
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
1. We shall be sending three sample videos on the event date(4th feb) @10:00 am.
2. The videos will have three different dance forms.
3. You have to copy and perform the given choreos and submit the video within a
given time limit of 24 hours. The deadline for submission will be 10:00 am the next
day (5th feb).
4. 1 entry corresponding to each video has to be sent from each HALL, i.e, 3 entries from
each HALL.
5. One person can perform only one of the three choreos.
6. For instance, suppose we send you three choreos A,B and C. Each of these need to be
performed by three different participants from each hall. Coordinate amongst yourselves
as to which style out of the three suits whom. And try to bring out the best.
RULES TO BE FOLLOWED:
1. Only Three entries from each Hall are allowed(one person can perform only
one of the three choreos). You have to coordinate amongst yourself as to who
will perform which choreo.
2. For the submission, DON’T send individual entries. Any ONE participant has to
submit all the three videos/video links in a single mail in accordance with the
method specified above.
3. You can use your preferred video editing software, make sure the audio is
properly audible and synchronized with the video.

Screenplay
This is a team event. Make your team of 2 to 8 members.
All the members in a team must be from the same hall.
● Each member has to record his/her performance individually,
and then these individual videos need to be merged into one full
act. You can take an idea from this video.
● Mild background music is allowed to emphasise any scene, but
you can’t use any songs.
● Video editing is appreciated, however, acting, dialogues and
script will be the key points for judgement.
● Act can be in Hindi, English or both.
● Vulgarity is strictly prohibited. And in case if the content of
the act is found offensive, it will lead to disqualification.
11● Only one video per team is allowed. And the members of one
team can’t participate with other teams. If it is found out that
this rule is violated then all such entries will be discarded.
● In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the coordinators will
be final and binding.
● Video should be in mp4 format only, and 5-10 minutes long.

Upload your Video on google drive and share it with
undekha@iitrpr.ac.in (with at least view access).
You also need to mail the drive link as per the
guidelines below.

Otherwise, entry will be disqualified.
You can either choose from the following themes and write
your script accordingly or it can be completely your own theme
and script.
List of the themes:
1. You live with your GF/BF in your house and suddenly some day
your parents come to visit you but they don’t know about your
relationship.
2. You suddenly start showing symptoms of covid’19, but actually it's
a normal flu.
3. A thief enters your house at midnight ,but instead of calling the
police or taking any action against him you start doing his/her
hospitality.
4. You are the don of your place but you fall for a girl who likes only
innocent guys.
5. You have shifted to a new apartment and you find out that the
apartment has a magical cupboard. This cupboard gives you
whatever you wish for.
6. Director choses a student to be the director of his college for
one complete day.

Be Poetic
A poem is not just a bunch of expressive lines, it’s an expression
itself. It takes more than just finding some good rhyming words
and putting them at the right place.
This event will focus completely on your creativity and how much
impact you are able to make through your poem.
● The Poem should be original. Any sort of plagiarism will lead to
disqualification and deduction of points for the hall.
● Your Poem must not exceed 25 lines.
● Poem can be in Hindi, english or both.
● Vulgarity is strictly prohibited. And in case if the poem is found
offensive, it will lead to disqualification.
● Only one entry per person is allowed.
● In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the coordinators will
be final and binding.

COLLAB COMPETITION
RULES AND REGULATIONS:

“synergicnotes_2k21”. The subject should be exactly the same as given,
otherwise, your video will not be considered.
2) Format of the mail must be like:

3) Decision of the judge will be final, no further arguments will be entertained.
4) Two or more participants must perform in this event
5) You can have any combination of vocalists and instrumentalists.
6) If you have only vocalists, you are allowed to sing along a backing track or a
karaoke
7) You are free to choose any genre.
8) The duration of the video must not exceed 90 seconds.
189) The quality of the video being submitted must be fairly good for validation.
10) The instrumentalist’s video must clearly show him playing the instrument.
11) Lyrics should not be vulgar or provocative or should not bear explicit meanings.
12) If in case the size of the video exceeds the limit, upload your video to Google
Drive, and mail the sharing link for the same.

14) We will be posting only 1 minute of the video on our instagram handle, however

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

7) The duration of the video must not exceed 90 seconds.

1. Sketch-It(Online Sketching Competition) :-
● Theme: Agriculture and Farmers/Figurative.
● Any kind of pencils and paper can be used to make sketch.
● One person can submit only 1 entry.
● The sketch should be made after 25th January, 2021. Send your online entry by 11:59
midnight, 2nd February, 2021. Late entries will not be accepted.
● You have to take a minimum of 6 photos of your sketch from beginning to end for
submission, the images should be in good quality. If you want to make a Time-Lapse
video that is also acceptable.
● Any kind of filter, modification should not be used in photos while submitting.
● Any kind of vulgarity, objectionable content will lead to disqualification.
● The images will be uploaded on the Instagram page of Fine Arts Club IIT Ropar
( vibgyor_iitrpr). There will be 5 points per like (one per id). Also, make sure that you
must have followed the ( vibgyor_iitrpr ) page to make your like count.

submission, the images should be in good quality. If you want to make a Time-Lapse

“TIRANGA”
Epicure Club is going to conduct its first event for GC-2021. As the event is going to take place
in the period of Republic Day, the Theme is Based on the colours of our FLAG.
So here’s the Rules for the event:
1) As I mentioned earlier the theme is based on the colours of our flag, So You
have to prepare a dish which includes the Tricolour of our National Flag. If it’s
difficult for you to make it, then your dish should be either of the Tricolours (i.s.
Saffron/ White/ Navy-Blue/Indian green).
2) You can use any ingredients as you like but the colour of the dish should be of
tricolour or either of the colours.
3) Can Not use any food colouring.
4) You have to portray your recipe in a making video of length at max 2min and at
least 1min.
5) Only videos which are not already given to us in the first activity will be posted
and considered for judging.
6) You can use your own preferred video editing software and if you can’t edit it
then even start the video then pause and resume it.
7) We will try our best to post your video on insta account of our club ASAP.
How to upload the videos:
1) We will be sharing a Google Form below where you will be asked for the basic info and
to upload your video.
Please fill out the Form to submit your work.
You can send videos on 26th January @ 10am
And last Date of submission - 31st January, 11:59pm
The Judging Criteria will be:
10% Based on the Semplice of the preparation.
45% Creativity and Uniqueness of your Dish.
30% For Plating and Presentation of the Final Dish.
15% For Colouring. (If you make a dish with all tricolors then you
will be awarded greater points than that of uni/ bi colour).
