Small and medium sized businesses can apply for a grant to help them develop new market-leading products, technologies and processes. Round Nine of the Coles Nurture Fund is now open. This provides employees with tax deductions for the cost of renting, buying or maintaining their clothing. Employers are eligible for fringe benefit tax (FBT) concessions on any contribution they make towards their employees’ uniforms. Who is this for? Employers who have an eligible non-compulsory uniform available for their employees to wear. What you get? You can register your employees’ non-compulsory corporate uniform and accessories. This will allow them to get tax deductions for renting, buying or maintaining their uniform. Assets must cost less than the instant asset write-off threshold and be purchased and used in the year that the write- off is claimed. Who is this for? Eligible businesses. What you get? WESTERN AUSTRALIA Grant: Access Asia Business Grants - Round 3 Website: https://bit.ly/2LY1lcO Summary: Access Asia Business Grants aim to support Western Australian small and medium businesses, and organisations such as Asian business councils and industry associations, to advance their export and trade in Asian markets and contribute to WA’s economic recovery. As international travel is not possible in the foreseeable future, the grants can assist WA owned and/or operated businesses to: • adopt new business models to expand market share • access new Asian markets or sectors • increase innovation in logistics and supply chain models • gather in-market intelligence to capture new opportunities • develop new marketing collateral for Asian markets.
