Zone Heating Unlike a gas furnace that ducts heat to all rooms of your home, you can use your insert for zone heating. Zone heating is all about focusing heat where people spend the most time. By turning down the thermostat on your furnace and using your gas insert as a supplemental heat source, it’s easy to save money on home heating bills. Direct Vent Our gas inserts are all “direct vent,” meaning they pull combustion air from the outside of the house and not your living space. For indoor air quality, safety and performance, both combustion air and exhaust gases pass through your existing chimney via a direct vent kit. The Traditional Hearth Series showcases a very large viewing area that is second to none. A traditional
hearth look is achieved by having our ceramic glass go almost all the way to the bottom of the
unit and hearth. These gas inserts convert an existing masonry or metal fireplace into an efficient
heater while preserving the charm of a traditional fireplace.
The Traditional Hearth Series is designed to fit most fireplace openings. Having the controls located
laterally allows for an almost 20% increase in glass viewing area. The glass on these inserts features the
2015 ANSI approved invisible safety screen.
The Traditional Hearth Series comes complete with fans, 3 Accent Lights (top and back), a burner and
the GreenSmart 2 Wall Mounted Remote. The Comfort Control™ allows the middle and front burner to
operate independently of the rear burner for maximum flame turndown.

20 Gas InsertsInstalling An Efficient Gas Insert In Your Metal or Masonry Fireplace
1 The first step is determining whether you have a metal (zero clearance) or masonry fireplace and which insert will fit into your
fireplace. Your Lopi Design Center Professional can help if you need it. They will also provide you with your new air intake system
and exhaust vent liners. It is important that this work is done by a hearth professional.
