Meet the
NEYMAN family
Maciej and Paulina Spława-Neyman are
repeatable medalists of sport fencing, histo-
rical fencing and even knight tournaments
competitions on national and international
level.
Being sportsmen and skilled tailors it was a
matter of time before that fencing couple en-
tered the HEMA GEAR club with their unique
touch. The initial idea was to make HEMA more
historicaly stylish, and much less makeshift. Giving
mobile and safe products fully designed with sword
fencing in mind. Many years later Neyman is still where
it’s roots were. Like a magnet pair gathered more and more people deeply bewitched
by historical fencing and related topics. Neyman Fencing as a company became famo-
us for extreme custom tailoring,
truly advanced research & deve-
lopment pushing HEMA innova-
tion to the highest levels. NF is
always trying to push boundaries
as far as possible almost solely on
its back, but always with the help
of the great HEMA community
support and investment.

JACKETS Neyman Fencing is the leader in innovation regarding to fencing
jacket technology. Every garment is finished with lightwe-
ight pierce resistant 800N fabric, padded with syn-
thetic wadding and finished from inside with mo-
isture absorbing fabric. It builds up to lightest yet
fully protective jacket that doesn’t become smelly
or molded. With modern sawing technique and
exceptional pattern design techniques a fi-
nished jacket is much more mobile and com-
fortable.
Every part, material and technique are used
with a purpose in mind. Antiabrasive
exterior, Lightweight 800N seconda-
ry layer, heavy duty zippers, integrated
unique 360 degree bladecatcher, self
adjustable wrists, and much more.

OF FINISH:
LVL 1: SPARTAN
The jacket doesn’t have a separate inner lining, but is finished with every
essential part.
Moisture absorbent layer and cooling fabric are placed here directly to skin.
Preventing sweat from gathering.
LVL 2: COMFORT
Building upon previous level Jackets this one has a thin mesh lining pro-
viding 3mm deep area around the body for air to move around. So called
AIR-ZONE will add comfort to long lasting fencing session and reduce
overheating factor.
LVL 3: AUGMENTED
This one is for people who fight dangerously or have a low pain threshold.
Within the inner lining precisely placed pockets holds special inside plates
made from ultra flexible and high energy-absorptive rubber. For ribs, shoul-
ders and back or chest depending on option choices.

When people are interested in both spectrums of
fencing, light and heavy, they have to make a choice
between light jacket and much heavier one.
In conclusion you always have to pick between co-
oking yourself or get bruised but be able to fight
longer.Neyman recommends a third solution.
Get a light jacket and when needed to cover
it with external plastron. Combine ef-
fect beats any heavy jacket in both
weights, defense, and mobility.It’s so
different, it’s hard to even call it pla-
stron. It’s a real Armor!

It’s not just a leather cover for your garment.

Most protective gear in HEMA concentra-
tes on well known materials. Our weapons
of choice are definitely Styrogum and leather.
Tempered styrogum is a material that’s suitable
for most HEMA protective requimerments. It can be
made tough and thick, for body parts like joints that
need heavy protection. It can be also very flexible
for body parts that need mobility.
The biggest advantage of styrogum is lightweight.
Half or even less of its plastic and carbon equivalent.
It’s also really easy to adjust it to your body with some heat
and water. That’s simple and doesn’t require special processing
like plastic.

The Stronger one of Twin Neyman blades based on Polish Do-
bringer designs of Irek Nowacki. Raw industrial design of the
highest CNC grade carved steel. Beauty and simplicity with
long thin edge giving the blade moderate but safe flex.
Aside from great balance and weight the sword has
perfect mass distribution. Apart from being
lit- tle stiffer Morhault is a great teaching
blade. It won’t be easy to bend it with
your will. Handling it gives you feedback
whenever you misalign the blade or han-
dle it wrongly.

It may look simple but its definately more then just a
regular singlestick. Like our protectors its made from
styrogum covered with quality leather, making it really
protective.
Other sticks are commonly made from hard and thick
leather ,or plastic leaving a lot to be desired. Inside it’s
a pure bliss thick microrruber, comfortable and
highly shock absorbant Using it is a pleasent,
comfortable and definitely safe experiance.
You can get it with rattan stick or nylon
one. Colors of leather and stiching are
fully customisable.

It may not be a life saver but surely it’s gonna
save your lamp, wall, furniture, mug etc... A
proper tool with perfect finish. Full
pommel, handle, crossguard for you

Theres an unimaginable diffrence in wourking out,
beetwen a makeshift and our Baldvin. The
rolling dumbell mechanism letts you
to recreate any blade you have with
any point of balance. Avaible in 2
versions. Longsword BALDVIN comes with
pear shaped pommel and one-handed sword BALDVIN
JR with a round pommel.

What kind of customs are we making? Our policy is “sky is the
limit”.
Any order, as long as someone wants to wear is worth ma-
king.
What can we do?
Colors, patterns, shapes, sizes, secret functions and
extreme finish. If you want it, we will make it. Al-
ways in a way that it will hold up in a fight.
Crafting, designing and tailoring is an adventu-
rous process, giving us lots of satisfaction. Also,
most of those even most bizarre crafts are
not far from our regular prices since our
workshop is heavily prepared for such
tasks both in machines and software.
The truth is that half of the excitement
is hidden inside. Things like Medieval Gar-
ment with hidden protectors or fanned cooling
inside head protector.

17ZERO-0 Everyone who dealt with, Fencing,
HEMA, reenactment or any sport requiring solid padded pro-
tection know the unpleasantness of over-heating.
Solutions on the market tend to only look like they are wor-
king, sometimes even reducing their general protection.
- Grommets on the back will stop working as soon as the
jacket starts sticking to the body „like a mouth without
working lungs”
-Thin fabric with holes may work for baske-
tball, but they are way too risky for fencing
sports.
- Cooling packs are better at making you sick
than cool.
That’s where Neyman Fencing comes.
The fabric holds no water, passes
air almost limitlessly and is
lighter than regular pad-
ding, but still provides
the necessary pro-
tection. With our
success copies were
soon to follow,
but even till today,
they fail to protect
and match our com-
fort. NF uses much softer and refined mesh used for the
clothing industry, not a rigid one.
Even if our regular jackets won’t
pass this much air thru anti-pier-
cing material, there is a benefit to
use it.
Like mentioned before, it do-
esn’t retain water and it’s really
light. A jacket like this has only a
minor protection reduction, but
beco-
mes
almost
half lighter. Apart from pad-
ding made from this material
you can add fully padded
back ventilation which will
drop your heat levels to ab-
solute minimum almost like
in zero jackets.
Mesh with special protective cover can be used for the
whole jacket. Still, we recommend to fence with broad
tip feders or synthetics in general.
18DIOGENES INITIATIVE With pockets and safety
in mind under the influence of Johnathan Burke, Neyman prepared a set of low cost, high
performance gear. For people striving to afford the gear in lower wealth regions or for clubs
without proper funding Neyman prepared the Diogenes line. Each item is given the best pos-
sible performance for a buck. Matching all essential properties for combat and safety at a cost
of refined style or additional comforts. On low cost spectrum which lately started to bloom
within shady eastern companies offering fake newton rating or blades that snap or bite after
the first sparing. Trying to maintain the look on a certain level.
Neyman Diogenes series offer products made from high grade materials ,with proper 800N
ratings and fully professional manufacturing process. Choosing only clever solutions and sa-
crificing aesthetics.
First comes DIOGENES FEDER
Almost 200 designing hours in CAD simulator
got us an almost 2D (sword still has a small
distal taper version of our other high-end 3D
swords. The CNC machine, our unorthodox looks, handles exactly like a fe-
der should with proper bend. Even with the savings it still has a safe broad tipnot a
folded one.
The additional great side effect of the simplified shape is a major increase in blade endu-
rance. No stress points. It will last and last. A perfect club weapon to teach generations.
DIOGENES JACKET
Fulfills all demands that a longsword fighting jacket
has. Essential 800N fabric and bladecatcher are still
here. Where are the cost cuts? No internal lining and
much more simplified pattern to reduce crafting time.
Some may even prefer these spartan aesthetics, but for
us first comes safety. Probably after some time you
will want a new jacket, but guess what! This one will
still serve your friend and his friend when you will
pass it on.
DIOGENES TROUSERS
These ones are minimalistic. Light, 800N pierce re-
sistant trousers. To sum up they are a great choice if
you are buying your first gear or buiyng gear for the
club. You’re purchasing raw efficiency with durability
for at least few generations of greenhorns and we
all know that greenhorns are first in line to break
things.

GAUNTLETS
In collaboration with Jaroslaw Kryczyk
we took our experience in crafting pro-
tection equipment and his design capa-
bilities and intuition to recreate medieval
gothic gauntlets
but provide it with all features HEMA may
benefit. The greatest changes and improve-
ments come with specially designed fingers.
They are made to self curl so your fingers always
enclosed and tighten around the sword grip, self-
-filling any gaps. The height of the sides of the fin-
gers protects fingerbones and the tips of the fingers
from fracture. Fingertips are protected from all sides
at once without affecting negatively sword handling
since those
open up to
anything
holden in
hand.
Even with superior endurance and best materials
all those who use gloves for sparings know that they
don’t last forever. We figured out a solution.
Whole glove is fully modular. General mounting is sim-
plified to enable fixing replacement and hacking for anyone with
just a bit of time.
