the participation of their PhD supervisor. Applicant Principal Investigators should also be able

peer-reviewed journals of their respective field. They may also demonstrate a record of invited

ERC Consolidator Grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the             Deadline: 20 April 2021

to 12 years. A competitive Consolidator Grant Principal Investigator must have already shown

Applicant Principal Investigators should also be able to demonstrate a promising track record
of early achievements appropriate to their research field and career stage, including
significant publications (as main author) in major international peer-reviewed multidisciplinary

field. They may also demonstrate a record of invited presentations in well-established
international conferences, granted patents, awards, prizes etc. Consolidator Grants may be
awarded up to a maximum of EUR 2 000 000 for a period of 5 years.

of research achievements. Applicant Principal Investigators must demonstrate the ground-
breaking nature, ambition and feasibility of their scientific proposal. A competitive Advanced
Grant Principal Investigator must have already shown a record which identifies them as an
exceptional leader in terms of originality and significance of their research contributions. Thus,
in most fields, Principal Investigators of Advanced Grant proposals will be
expected to demonstrate a record of achievements appropriate to the field and at least
matching one or more of the following benchmarks: 10 publications as main author (or in
those fields where alphabetic order of authorship is the norm, joint author) in major
international peer-reviewed multidisciplinary scientific journals, and/or in the leading
international peer-reviewed journals and peer-reviewed conferences proceedings of their
respective field; 3 major research monographs. This benchmark is relevant to research fields
where publication of monographs is the norm. Other alternative benchmarks that may be
considered (individually or in combination) as indicative of an exceptional record and
recognition in the last 10 years: 5 granted patents; 10 invited presentations in well established
internationally organised conferences and advanced schools; 3 research expeditions led by
the applicant Principal Investigator; 3 well-established international conferences or congresses
where the applicant was involved in their organisation as a member of the steering and/or
organising committee; International recognition through scientific or artistic prizes/awards or
membership in well-regarded Academies or artefact with documented use (for example,
architectural or engineering design, methods or tools); Major contributions to launching the
careers of outstanding researchers; Recognised leadership in industrial innovation.

The overall objective for the CO Cofund Third Call 2021 is that the proposed research projects
support the further development of the organic sector in Europe and beyond. The expected
impacts focus on organic food systems including mixed farming practices, supporting animal
health and welfare, innovative cropping and production systems as well as feed production
and biodiversity, aiming at accomodating the growing demand for more organic products,
supporting the organic farming regulations, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the EU
Farm-to-Fork and the Biodiversity Strategies. The funded projects should present new and
innovative solutions to environmentally friendly agriculture. Moreover, they should contribute
to supporting human health, trade and job creation and the improvement of the general
competitiveness of the agricultural sector.

This call is about research on (re-) integration of crop and livestock farming systems with the
aim to enhance circularity between these systems and thereby improve the sustainability of
farms. Proposals must:
a) Focus on mixed crop-livestock farming systems. These systems can occur within single
farms or can be achieved by connecting separate crop and livestock farms.
b) Address the monitoring and/or mitigation of GHGs from agriculture or agroforestry.
c) Contain an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) dimension, for example the
use of sensors, communication technologies, data analytics, modelling, robotics, precision
farming or decision support systems.
d) Take a systems approach. The circular economy approach to mixed crop-livestock
production will include synergy and complementarity with sectors such as environmental
protection.

finanziari, il Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca (MIUR) ha creato un "Fondo
di fondi" di rilevanza nazionale per la ricerca e l'innovazione gestito dalla Banca europea per
gli investimenti (BEI). Gli investimenti che i Fondi Ricerca e Innovazione potranno finanziare
comprendono attività di ricerca industriale e sviluppo sperimentale in linea con i criteri di
selezione del PON Ricerca e Innovazione e promuovono lo sviluppo e l'utilizzo delle
tecnologie abilitanti fondamentali (Key Enabling Technologies - KETs) per le aree tematiche
della Strategia Nazionale di Specializzazione Intelligente.La strategia di investimento del
Fondo prevede anche la possibilità di realizzare una piattaforma nazionale per la ricerca e
l'innovazione con eventuali apporti di risorse proprie da parte della BEI, di altri programmi
operativi nazionali e regionali, e/o di altri intermediari finanziari nazionali e regionali.
L'attuazione dello strumento finanziario interessa innanzitutto le otto regioni target del PON

Le Università pubbliche italiane, gli enti pubblici di ricerca nazionali e gli Istituti di ricovero e
cura a carattere scientifico (IRCCS) hanno tempo fino al 31 marzo 2021 per partecipare alla
selezione dei migliori brevetti in 7 aree tecnologiche caratterizzanti l’edizione 2021 del
concorso IPA.
Per ciascuna delle macro aree saranno conferiti i seguenti premi: 1) I primi 5 brevetti
selezionati daranno diritto alla partecipazione di un rappresentante del soggetto proponente
alla fase finale a DUBAI. La Direzione assicurerà i costi per detto rappresentante relativi al
viaggio, al vitto e all’alloggio per una durata massima di 3 pernotti; 2) per il primo
classificato, il premio consisterà in un contributo di euro 10.000,00 erogato all’Università,
all’Ente pubblico di ricerca o all’IRCCS titolare del brevetto, da utilizzare per la valorizzazione
del brevetto stesso.

Research projects will be financed under the funding scheme “Mobility of Researchers”,

long-term stay (up to 30 days) may be funded yearly. The sending Party will pay the travel
expenses whereas the maintenance and accommodation expenses will be funded by the
hosting Party.

With regard to the present call three funding schemes are available: 1“Mobility of
Researchers”: joint research projects where only the expenses for researchers’
mobility are funded by both Parties. 2“Significant Project”: joint research projects where
research activities are co-funded by bothParties.3"Networks of Excellence", co-funded
by both parties and aimed at creating long-term sustainable interactions between
multiple Italian and Indian Research institutions, based on existing infrastructure, with
significant impact on one priority research area. Each PI must submit only one proposal and
can apply to only one funding scheme, either (1) Mobility of Researchers, or (2) Significant
Projects,or (3) Networksof Excellence, under penalty of exclusion from the Call for multiple
submissions.

Il Ministero delle Politiche Agricole, Alimentari e Forestali (MIPAAF) ha indetto l'apertura di un
bando per progetti di ricerca in tema di agricoltura biologica, per il quale è stato stanziato
un budget di 4.200.000 euro. Il bando vuole incentivare la ricerca in un settore che in Italia
ha sperimentato negli ultimi 10 anni un aumento del 79% delle terre coltivate secondo il
metodo bio, dato che pone il paese al 1° posto in Europa per numero di agricoltori
biologici. I progetti dovranno perseguire il miglioramento delle produzioni, l'innovazione dei
processi produttivi, il trasferimento tecnologico, la fruizione e diffusione dei risultati della
ricerca e la diffusione dei benefici e vantaggi dell'agricoltura biologica. Tra i requisiti vi è
anche il coinvolgimento diretto di almeno un'azienda agricola biologica o biodinamica per
sperimentare l'applicazione dei risultati. Il contributo massimo per proposta sarà di 300.000
euro, per un cofinanziamento massimo del 90%. Possono partecipare Università ed Enti
pubblici in qualità di soggetti proponenti. La partecipazione in qualità di partner è estesa
anche agli Enti privati che hanno tra gli scopi statutari la ricerca e la sperimentazione e
senza fini di lucro. E' fortemente incoraggiato il conferimento di borse di studio nell'ambito
dell'attività progettuale e il coinvolgimento di studenti delle scuole superiori ad indirizzo
agrario, di aziende biologiche con sede nelle isole, in territori montani o nei biodistretti e di
aziende biologiche gestite da giovani imprenditori.

pre-clinica e clinica prevedendo altresì un ambiente di supporto alla produzione secondo le
buone prassi internazionalmente riconosciute e per lo sviluppo di sistemi di produzione di
terapie innovative su larga scala.
Le risorse sono ripartite tra le due macroaree territoriali secondo la chiave di riparto 80% per i
progetti da realizzare nelle aree del Mezzogiorno e 20% per i progetti da realizzare nelle
aree del Centro-Nord.
Il contributo alla realizzazione dei progetti assume la forma del contributo a fondo perduto,
a copertura massima dell’80% dei costi ammissibili del progetto.

Obiettivo dell’iniziativa è la prevenzione e la riduzione degli impatti negativi derivanti
dall’attuale gestione dei rifiuti non serviti da filiera attraverso l’incentivazione di un uso
efficiente ed ecocompatibile delle risorse (materie prime), con particolare attenzione alla
prevenzione, al recupero, al riciclaggio ed all’ottimizzazione del ciclo di vita dei materiali.
La durata dei progetti non deve essere inferiore a 12 mesi e superiore a 24. Nei casi in cui il
progetto preveda la realizzazione di prototipi la durata massima potrà essere di 36 mesi.
Sono ammessi a partecipare al bando organismi di ricerca singoli o associati, anche in
forma temporanea, con altri soggetti pubblici o privati.
Le risorse complessive messe a disposizione dal bando ammontano a 2.000.000 di euro. Il
contributo assegnato per ciascuna delle iniziative progettuali ammesse a cofinanziamento
non può essere inferiore a 100.000 euro e superiore a 300.000 euro. La percentuale massima
di contributo che può essere concessa per ciascuna iniziativa progettuale ammessa a
cofinanziamento è pari al 50% delle spese ammissibili.

Il Ministero dell'Ambiente ha aperto le candidature al nuovo bando per il cofinanziamento              tecnologie di riciclaggio
di progetti di ricerca finalizzati allo sviluppo di nuove tecnologie per il recupero, il riciclaggio
ed il trattamento dei rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (RAEE).                    Types of action: progetti di ricerca
Il bando finanzia progetti di ricerca industriale e/o sviluppo sperimentale con l'obiettivo di         industriale      e/o       sviluppo
prevenire e ridurre gli impatti negativi derivanti dalla produzione e gestione dei RAEE,               sperimentale

preveda la realizzazione di prototipi la durata massima potrà essere di 36 mesi.
Sono ammessi a partecipare al bando gli organismi di ricerca singoli o associati, anche in

     information with a view to reducing vulnerability.

 This competition is aimed atlocal authorities, national agencies, public universities
 and NGOs, companies or members of the private sector,in partnership with a local
 public stakeholder who have implemented an adaptation action. It concerns the
 regions included within the Mediterranean bioclimatic zone, i.e. part or all of the
 following countries: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France,
 Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco,
 Palestinian National Authority, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey.
 The awards ceremony will take place in June2021, during ECCA (Brussels-Belgium). The
 finalists (the winner in each prize category) will receive a diploma and benefit from
