HORIZONTAL SILOS
Horizontal silos are made of precast modular walls in
reinforced vibrated concrete that are easily posed on
the existing floor (if statically suitable).
Precast walls are free-standing and load-bearing, no
foundations are needed and therefore are easily posed
on the existing floor and you can build:
- Horizontal silos
- Storage box
- Containment walls
- Loading ramps
- Ecological collection points
Horizontal silos are available with standard sizes: 1,00
m - 1,70 m - 2,72 m - 3,00 m - 3,50 m - 4,00 m - 5,00 -
6,00 m - 7,00 m - 8,00 m - 9,00 m high (perimeter and
partition walls) and with corner units, junctions and final
units and so on to build horizontal silos without further
masonry work or supplementary casting work. It is a
solution for horizontal storage problems of all types of
bulk material.
Edil Leca S.r.l. horizontal silos are produced with:
- High mechanical strength;
- High protection of reinforcement;
- High exposure class of concrete (until the class XA3);
- quality self-checking system according to the law,
assure a better resistance to acids and provides a
considerable duration in time.
MOVABLE, LOAD-BEARING, FREE-
STANDING AND MODULAR WALLS
Precast walls have a product-load bearing
capacity until 1800 kg/m³ also against the
overload of the loading machines that collect and
gather the products.

The only work that has to be performed is the support plane of the walls,
it could be also the existing level, and the flooring. We recommend to
follow the description that you can find on the drawings.

Take notice: you can order also precast walls with greater capacity or
with “cut to size work” as a solution for every problem to store material.

MOVABLE SHED
TO STORE AND SEPARATE MATERIAL UNDER COVER
Easy to assemble and disassemble, cheap, flexibility
on use. These are, in a few words, the main
characteristics of the moving shed with modular
free-standing walls. It meets completely the growing
need to store different materials. The moving shed is
produced with load-bearing precast walls with variable
height from 1,00 m to 9,00 m with: hot-galvanized steel
construction, with single or multiple span covering,
tunnel-shaped or in structural layer steel-work. The
covering is in waterproof PVC film variously prepared
in corrugated sheet or with insulating panels. The
cover structure can be fix or mobile. The manufactured
article can be used with success in all kind of fields like
in: food farming, house-building, industry, as well as
in the environmental field. Perfect to realize stores for
bulk material under cover.

PRECAST BUNKER
Precast bunker are used as follows:
- in Animal Production to contain sewage;
- on Industry in purification and liquid containment
plants.
They consist of modular units, statically independent,
that allow the construction of bunkers with flat or
lowered bottom, below ground and above ground in the
following shapes:
- circular;
- elliptical;
- square shaped or rectangular;
- multi-shaped with partition walls that allow to obtain 2
or more compartments.
These bunker silos will easily fit the specific needs and
are therefore flexible and advantageous.
Our bunker walls are industrially manufactured in
factory with special waterproof concrete with low water-
concrete ratio, with high-strength steels well-spaced
from the wall and with special concretes to obtain a
concrete with the highest exposure class.
They are undergoing to strict quality controls and have
considerable mechanical properties better than in the
case of concreting on site.
For that reason our bunker are:
- more waterproof;
- considerably longer durability;
- resistant to chemical attacks of aggressive materials.
Finally we can say that our bunker silos consist of
interconnected units with elastic and tin type joints
that absorb the dimensional shrinkage movements, of
temperature and of settling. For this reason there is an
other important point: there are no cracks.
