3. REGISTRATION
Licenses: Only competitors and team officials with a valid IFSC international license are allowed to
register for the competition.

Pre-registration: In order to support the efficient organisation of the competitions, it is very important
that National Federations register participants to the competitions as early as possible.
Deadline: The deadline for registration is days before the first day of competition the “Registration
Date at 11:59 PM UTC+0 of the 16/09/2021
Online Technical Meeting: (as per the Addendum to IFSC Rules)
A representative from each participating Member Federation shall participate to the online Technical
meeting lead by the IFSC Technical Delegate.

4. PRE-EVENT REGULATIONS
All participating athletes, officials and organising staff must submit a negative COVID-19 PCR test (taken
no more than 3-days prior to the arrival day) to the COVID-19 Outbreak Response Coordinator, Sanghee
Cho at kockaf@kaf.or.kr upon arrival/registration at the event.
All athletes and team officials are recommended to have insurance coverage, covering hospitalization and
all other medical coverage if required due to COVID-19 and possible repatriation back to their home
country.
The IFSC will not be responsible for any of these costs.
5. CONFIRMATION OF ATTENDANCE (as per the Addendum to IFSC Rules)
Participation of all Team Members shall be confirmed upon arrival to location to the IFSC Technical
Delegate by phone or via email in the 24 hours period between 28th September at 11:59 PM (UTC +7) to
29th September at 11:59 PM (UTC+7)
Delayed Arrival
In case of late arrival please contact the IFSC Technical Delegate as soon as possible.
Technical Meeting
A Technical Meeting will be organized on 30 September at 5:00 PM (UTC +7) where only 1 (one) Team
Official per team will be allowed.

HOW TO GET TO SEOUL
· Quarantine Exemption Certificate
Those who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to enter Korea without two-week quarantine when
they fill out and submit Quarantine Exemption Application attached to K.A.F and you can get the
certificate from the embassy of the Republic of Korea located in each country.

10. RESPONSE PROTOCOL IN CASE OF (SUPPOSED) POSITIVITY
In reference to Article 1.3 of the Addendum to IFSC Rules, in case a Team Member feels unwell and/or
shows symptoms of acute respiratory infection during the event they shall inform by phone the
Technical Delegate (TD) as soon as possible.
11. RESPONSE PROTOCOL IN CASE OF COVID-19 POSITIVITY
In case of positivity, procedures on isolation will be carried out according to national health
department guidelines at the time of the event.
Procedures as per 2021:
• People who have tested positive for infection with the coronavirus must go into isolation.
Isolation lasts 10 days. Please follow local health department guidelines for isolation.
• People who have had “close contact (approximately 2 meters for 15 minutes or more over 24
hours) with a confirmed positive case must go into quarantine for 10 days per local health
department guidelines (subject to certain requirements it is possible to shorten this period).
• Location of isolation or quarantine to be defined in accordance with COVID-19 Outbreak
Response Coordinator Doctor in a separate room. Expenses to be covered by the participant
or the medical insurance of each participant.

APPENDIX I: TRAVEL INFORMATION
BEFORE TRAVELLING
The Climbing World Cup in SEOUL is open only to those who are fully vaccinated for COVID-
19 (after 2 weeks of inoculation of all recommended doses: Pfizer, Janssen, Moderna, AZ,
Kobyshield, Sinopharm, Sinovec) and they are able to apply for the Quarantine Exemption
Certificate to be allowed entry Republic of Korea without two-week quarantine in a
designated facility.
The steps to obtain the waiver are as follows: Please submit your requests at least 14 days
prior to your planned arrival to the Republic of Korea.
You are strongly recommended to book your flight to Korea according to the estimated time
of arrival(see below) so that we coordinate an additional PCR test without any charge.
- In the case of your arrival time is after noon, you should arrive on Sep. 28th at the latest.
- In the case of your arrival time is before noon, you should arrive on Sep. 29th at the latest.
1. National team managers must provide the following documents for all of their Team
Members that will be attending the IFSC SEOUL World Cup to kockaf@kaf.or.kr:
• Quarantine Exemption Application
• Agreement to the Terms and Conditions
• Pledge of Supervision
• Quarantine Exemption Certificate
• Copy of Passport
• Copy of Flight Ticket
2. Korea Alpine Federation will provide this information to the responsible party for
approving the waivers. Approval may take one to two weeks.
3. Once the waiver is approved by the relevant authority, team managers will be notified
of the waiver status by Korea Alpine Federation. Then they can pick up the Quarantine
Exemption Certificate from the Korea Embassy in the country they reside.
E en O gani e Partners IFSC PartnersThe waiver will allow a single entry into the Republic of Korea within 7 days from the
date of issuance. If one travels to the Republic of Korea on day 8th or thereafter from
the date the waiver was issued, he or she will not be able to enter the Republic of
Korea. The length of stay will only for the period of World Cup in SEOUL.

All Travellers to the Republic of Korea must be able to provide:
• Proof of a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR), LAMP, TMA, NEAR test result in
English or Korean within 3-days of your flight to enter the Republic of Korea.
UPON ARRIVAL
All travellers should have their approved Certificate for entry into the Republic of Korea. You
will need to present the Certificate when you go through customs.
Proof of a negative polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test result from everyone within 72-
hours of your departure from the country. When you arrive in the Republic of Korea, K.A.F
will arrange an additional PCR test near the hotel in the afternoon, July 29th .
Transportation will be provided. So all participants should arrive according to the estimated
time of arrival of your flight. See below again.
- In the case of your arrival time is after noon, you should arrive on Sep. 28th at least.
- In the case of your arrival flight is before noon, you should arrive on Sep. 29th at least.
DURING THE EVENT
Please refer to the Addendum to IFSC Rules where many details are listed. Additional
measures of the organizer are as follows:
• Temperature checks of everyone on a daily basis, when entering the competition zones.
• Masks are required at all times at the competition venue and in public according to the
Infection prevention guidelines
• You comply with all the obligations specified under the Note on the Quarantine
Exemption Certificate as follows:
Obligation to receive a diagnostic test upon entering the Republic of Korea and wait for
the test result; get a diagnostic test within 6-7 days of entry and submit a copy of
negative COVID-19 test result within 8 days of entry; conduct active monitoring,
including installing the Self-Check Mobile App, reporting daily health status via the app,
and answering phone calls from the health authorities call centre; comply with infection
prevention guidelines; adhere to the Itinerary for Quarantine Exemption Period; and
comply with isolation orders made by the disease control authorities as necessary,
especially when testing positive for COVID0-19.

- Avid public places of hig risk(e.g. public gatherings, restaurants, etc.)
