                                                        Pension Fund health check
Every three years the Berkshire Pension Fund
is required to appoint an independent actuary
to carry out a valuation of the Fund.

The valuation is a health check to see if the
Fund’s assets are sufficient to meet its liabilities.
It is carried out by the actuary to the Fund,
Barnett Waddingham.

Employer contribution rates for the
forthcoming three year period (1 April 2020 to
31 March 2023) are set as part of the valuation
process which takes place in April 2019.

Once the valuation has been completed the full
report will be published on our website. The
2017-2020 valuation report is available within
