    RIZVI EDUCATION SOCIETY is a Public Charitable Trust established under the Societies Act 1950 and registered
    under the provisions of The Bombay Public Act, 1950. The main objective of the society has always been
    promoting education to all the citizens, through its motto “HUMANISE EQUALISE SPIRITUALISE”

    RIZVI COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE is approved by COUNCIL OF ARCHITECTURE, the highest Architectural
    governing body of India. It is also approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and affiliated to MUMBAI
    UNIVERSITY.
    Rizvi College of Architecture is among the best colleges of Maharashtra,India.

    Rizvi College of Architecture (RCA) has a faculty with rich national and international professional experience
    and high standard of academic background. RCA has established its network relations with some of the
    leading schools, colleges and research institutions in India and abroad.

    The college aims to develop an all-round character and creativity among its students. In an era of globalization,
    the college prepares them to face the challenges and complex tasks of shaping living environment for the 21st
    Century.

    RCA campus has been hosting international conference for twenty years in collaboration with International
    Association of Humane Habitat (IAHH). To date, RCA campus has hosted lectures and talks by eminent
    personalities from all over the world. To name a few, many scholars from USA, Japan, France, Germany, Iran,
    Austria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Greece etc. have graced the RCA conferences over the years.

    Eminent architects and academicians like Ar. Charles Correa, Ar. Raj Rewal, Ar. Christopher Benninger, Ar.
    Rahul Mehrotra, Ar. Neelkanth Chhaya, Ar.Brinda Somaya, Ar. Miki Desai, Ar. Narendra Dengle, and many
    others have shared their work at RCA with faculty and Students.

    Council of Architecture (COA) India, President Hon. Ar. Habib Khan had visited Rizvi College of Architecture on
    25th February 2020 for the Architecture &People international Conference(APIC),wherein Sir had appreciated
    the college philosophy of humane architecture and the students research work on indigenous wisdom from
    our past The past COA Presidents viz Ar. Vijay Sohoni, Ar. Vijay Garg, council members of COA like Ar.
    Gurunath Dalvi, Ar. S.A. Tungare, Ar. Alok Ranjan have also supported conferences hosted at RCA.

    AIM
    Students must be allowed to craft their own path during the education and must have the
    freedom to express and choose what he would like to be
    Designer, Construction or Project manager, Accredited Professional for Green Buildings or
    Environmentalist, Landscape Architect, Architectural critic, Journalist, Photographer, Structural
    expert etc. depending his interest, capacity and capabilities. Our Institute aims to provide that
    option and environment for students to charter its path.

                                Dr. Akhtar Hasan Rizvi,
                                       President,
                                Rizvi Education Society.

 The noble profession of architecture calls for creative and dedicated persons who are
charged with a constructive urge to shape a humane environment to live in. Architecture
 as an art and science of built-environment, has a crucial role to play in the process of
                                      development.

      India with its 5000 years old architectural heritage has been in the forefront of
development in various periods of its evolution. Since Independence with rapid economic
  development, industrial growth and urbanization, there is an ever increasing demand
 for talented architects and related professionals to plan, design and manage the built-
                                       environment.

Rizvi Education Society is committed to the goals and objectives of national development.
 As part of this mission of human development, education and training of young citizens
   have been taken up in various fields of knowledge such as arts, science, commerce,
      architecture, engineering, education, law and hotel management and catering
                  technology, business management studies and research.

 Rizvi College of Architecture was established in August 1992 and it is affiliated to the
  University of Mumbai. The college offers 5 year Bachelor of Architecture and 2 year
 Masters in Architecture programmes recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA).
   The college has evolved into a prime school of thought in the field of sustainable
                            architecture and humane habitat.

Rizvi Education Society provides the necessary financial, technical and human resources
   and infrastructure to develop the college as one of the most progressive centre for
architectural learning. The college has developed professional links with leading schools
and colleges in India and abroad. Rizvi College of Architecture was granted prestigious
  Part I and Part II recognition by the Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA).

The college aims to develop an all round character and creativity among its students. In

   citizens who are able to face challenges of the contemporary world. Rizvi Education
  Society currently upholds more than 29 educational institutions (schools, colleges and
  professional institutions) that impart education based on value and skill enhancement.

Our stellar accomplishments in the academic field expand the frontiers of knowledge and

Life after COVID 19 PANDEMIC
  The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in educational institutions across the GLOBE being
   compelled to suddenly harness and utilize the range of available technological tools to
 create content for remote learning for students in all sectors. Academic Professionals across
the world are experiencing new possibilities to do things differently and with greater flexibility
resulting in potential benefits in accessibility to education for the students. At RCA , the safety
   and welfare of students is of prime importance. As the college reopens, we shall ensure
 the health, safety and security of the students, faculty members and staff and also continue
   academic activities by online teaching and other flexible possibilities apart from college
                                           studio work.

We will strictly follow the COVID-19 Guidelines as directed by Ministry of health and family
 Welfare(GoI) and the Council of Architecture(COA) and UGC while conducting our next
   academic session of 2020-2021.We shall work together and see a better tomorrow.

It is proposed to offer a regular M. Arch postgraduate course in Urban Design of two‐year duration
open to students with a B.Arch. qualification. This course is designed to enhance the skills of, young
aspiring architects to be involved in the active planning and design of urban settlements which are
under rapid transformation in India. This course would prepare a student to work within the planning
framework in our context with government institutions, non-governmental institutions and other private
agencies.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR B.ARCH.
                            For First year 2020-2021
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) will release the notification for Admission to First Year of
Architecture (B.Arch.) in Government, Government Aided and Unaided Institutes for the Academic
Year 2020-2021. The Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai is the Competent Authority for
admission to First Year Degree Architecture 2020-21.

• Candidates aspiring to take Admission should have obtain qualifying Marks in NATA 2020 or
  obtained Non Zero Positive Score in JEE (Main) Paper II.
• Aspirants should first check the eligibility criteria before filling the Centralised Admission Process
  (CAP) Application Form.
• The complete detail of DTE Maharashtra Architecture Admission 2020 such as Application
  Form, Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process, etc. is given
• on the DTE website http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/index.html

                     APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR B.ARCH.
                           For Second year 2020-2021
Eligible candidates for Admission to Second year B.Arch degree course at Rizvi College of
Architecture(Mumbai University) for the academic year 2020-21.

*The admission will be granted to eligible candidate as per guidelines of DTE.*

The following is the eligibility criteria:
• The student should have passed Semester 1 and Semester 2 at the time of admission.
• The application of the applicant should be accompanied with NOC and migration certificate of
  previous college.
• Copies of all the certificates on the basis of which admission was granted to first year B.Arch course
  in the year 2019-20.

The relevant documents required

1. 10th /SSC marksheet.
2. 10+2(Science) marksheet or its equivalent i.e. 3 years Diploma certificate approved by Central/
   State Government.
3. Copy of Leaving Certificate of Junior college.
4. Caste certificate, Non creamy layer certificate and Caste validity certificate for reserved category
   students etc.
5. Migration certificate.
6. Nata/JEE main marksheet.
7. Domicile certificate.
8. Any Other certificate on the basis of which admission was granted in first year B.Arch.

Working Along with ANLA to document UNESCO
  listed Mughal gardens in Srinagar, Kashmir

Earlier this year, we were presented with the
opportunity to work along side with Abha Narain
Lambha and Associates, on the documentation of
the UNESCO listed Mughals gardens in Kashmir.
Our students, successfully Documented, Mapped
and Presented detailed drawing of seven Mughal
Gardens which will be restored to its glory in time
to come. This documentation will be presented to
         UNESCO for world heritage listing.
