ApplicationINTERNSHIP 2021 INFORMATION
To fulfill the vision of Enjoy Church it is necessary to raise large (in capacity), strategic Christian leaders full
of life and hope. This is one of the key driving factors behind our Internship Program. The Enjoy Church
Internship is a volunteer training program for anyone who calls Enjoy ‘home’ and desires to grow in his or her
faith, leadership and church ministry experience. The main focus of this training program is to develop,
mentor and train people into their personal, ministry and leadership potential. Internships are available and
offered for a 12 month duration.
INTERNSHIP WEEK AT A GLANCE
Please note this is subject to change and should be used as a guide only.

These sessions will be led by Enjoy’s Senior Internship Program.

and members of Senior Leadership

Time Management
Spiritual growth
Leadership skills and development
APPLICATION PROCESS
1 Submit your application form to The HUB, online or via email. Fill out application
completely. Please take the time to read and complete all questions and denoted
fields.
2 Give your Pastoral Recommendation Forms to your TWO chosen Pastors/Leaders
to complete so they can return it DIRECTLY to internship@enjoy.church.
3 Once all materials have been received and reviewed by the Enjoy staff, we will
contact you to arrange a personal interview.
4 Once your interview outcome has been determined, we will contact you with further
information and instructions.ROLE DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Internship is a role at Enjoy Church which carries a weight of expectation and commitment. Some of these
expectations are outlined below:
Serve their department leader in a specific ministry area to develop understanding for ministry;
Release their department leader in practical areas through being a personal help;
Attend all weekend events and functions that their leader would be at, to serve and gain a much greater
understanding of kingdom life;
Attend Intern Personal Development Sessions each week;
Attendance requirement is 80% or more;
Commit to volunteer one day per week at one of our locations plus on Sundays in their allocated team
(Note: You will be entitled to: up to 4 weeks of leave over the year);
Serve at all of our annual conferences; and in addition to the above, be prepared to be available outside of
these ordinary hours.

Successful applicants for the Enjoy Church Internship Program would need to display the following qualities
and personal attributes:

SKILL & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS
Your application, references, an interview, availability of places and the prayerful decision of our
leadership team will determine acceptance into the Enjoy Church Internship. Applicants must have a
willingness to comply with all the requirements of the Internship.
EDUCATION
Applicants shall have successfully completed Year 10 (or equivalent).
AGE
Applicants shall be a minimum age of 18 years old.
ENGLISH
Applicants for whom English is not their first language shall be required to provide proof of written and

Ensure you comply with the relevant Enjoy Church and Government requirements. Further information can
be provided by the department leader and the business team.

Church pastors or leaders for completion. The Reference Forms must be returned directly to:
internship@enjoy.church and not given back to the applicant.

I have thoroughly considered the time commitments, financial obligations, leadership role and personal devotion required to succeed as
an Enjoy Church Intern and am willing to apply myself to these standards.

a) Enjoy Church is not obliged to disclose details of any reference nor provide reasons for declined applications;
b) As a volunteer I will not be an employee of Enjoy Church and no representation has been made that I will be offered
employment if I successfully complete the Internship Program as a volunteer.
I understand that the church operates in an environment of numerous legal and ethical restrictions, and I will fully cooperate
with the church in abiding by these. I assure the church, in considering me for a volunteer role that:
1. I have no health impediment that will put me or any other person at risk in the fulfilment of my designated role;
2. Other than those matters previously disclosed in this application, I know of no past behaviour that renders me unfit to serve
as a volunteer or which detracts from the obligation of the church to operate as a place of safety to a minor or any other
person. Such past behaviour may include being the subject of an allegation of sexual abuse (whether onvicted or not),
including any type of molestation, indecent exposure, sexual harassment or intimidation;
3. I have read, understood and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this document. I also authorise Enjoy Church to
undertake all necessary background checks including, but limited to, ‘Criminal Record Checks’. ‘Working with Children Checks’

inability to participate in Enjoy Church volunteer activities.
