Processional Hymn: Let us enter into Covenant
Let us enter into covenant with Christ
Celebrating the Eucharist of love
Take a little bread and wine
Lift up the chalice of the King

Alleluia it's a sign of love Alleluia it's a sign of peace
Alleluia it's the mystery of faith Alleluia Amen
Take the body and the blood of Christ
In divine revelation of His love
Be transformed Oh my people from your
sin
And eat and drink and live

He is lifted to the throne on high
And will come again to rule all the world
The saints who sleep in Christ shall rise
Rejoice O Zion and be glad

Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God
Who takes away the sin of the World
He who comes to me I shall not turn away

Come you faithful to the paradise of God
To the marriage feast of the Lamb
Eat manna from the tree of life
You are washed in the blood of Christ

                      IV. LITURGY OF THE WORD

First Reading: Isaiah 42: 1-9 Jeanne Garcia
 “Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold;
My chosen one in whom My soul delights.
I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will bring forth justice to the nations.
He will not cry out nor raise His voice,
Nor make His voice heard in the street.
A bent reed He will not break off
And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish;
He will faithfully bring forth justice.
He will not be disheartened or crushed
Until He has established justice on the earth;
And the coastlands will wait expectantly for His law.”
This is what God the Lord says,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread out the earth and its offspring,
Who gives breath to the people on it
And spirit to those who walk in it:
7

“I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness,
I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the nations,
 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the dungeon
And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.
I am the Lord, that is My name;
I will not give My glory to another,
Nor My praise to idols.
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
Now I declare new things;
Before they sprout I proclaim them to you.”

The word of the Lord
ALL: Thanks be to God

Responsorial Psalm110: Nancy A. Soto/Alvin M. A. Milligan
“You are a Priest Forever, in the line of Melchizedek”

Second Reading Hebrews 5:1-10 Shanda Cebedo

ALL: Te alabamos, Señor.

Gospel Acclamation/Alleluia:
God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that every-
one who believes in him may have eternal life.

Gospel: Tony Murray
A Reading from the holy Gospel according to John
ALL: Glory to you o Lord
John 10: 11-18
“I am the good shepherd; the good
shepherd lays down His life for the
sheep. He who is a hired hand, and not
a shepherd, who is not the owner of the
sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the
sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches
them and scatters the flock. He
flees because he is a hired hand and does
not care about the sheep. I am the good
shepherd, and I know My own, and My own
know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I
know the Father; and I lay down My life for
the sheep. And I have other sheep that are
not of this fold; I must bring them also, and
they will listen to My voice; and they will
become one flock, with one shepherd. For
this reason, the Father loves Me, because
I lay down My life so that I may take it
back. No one has taken it away from Me,
but I lay it down on My own.

I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it back. This
commandment I received from My Father.”

Deacon: The Gospel of the Lord
All: Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ

Homily: Bishop Jerome Feudjio

Credo: I believe in one God...

Prayers of the Faithful: Deacon David Capriola

                  VI. LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST

Offertory Hymn: Pescador de Hombres
(St. Joseph Spanish Community)

Tú Has venido a la orilla
No has buscado a sabios ni a ricos
Tan solo quieres que yo te siga

Señor, me has mirado a los ojos
Sonriendo has dicho mi nombre
En la arena he dejado mi barca
Junto a ti buscaré otro mar

Sanctus: composed by Erwin Jackie

Shine in your church gathered today

Longing for peace our world is troubled
Longing for hope many despair
Your word alone has pow'r to save us
Make us your living voice

Longing for food many are hungry
Longing for water many still thirst
Make us your bread broken for others
Shared until all are fed

Longing for shelter many are homeless
Longing for warmth many are cold
Make us your building sheltering others
Walls made of living stone

Final Blessing

Recessional Hymn: The Right hand of God
The right hand of God is writing in our land
Writing with power and with love
Our conflicts and our fears our triumphs and our tears
Are recorded by the right hand of God

The right hand of God is pointing in our land
Pointing the way we must go so clouded is the way
So easily we stray
But we are guided by the right hand of God

The right hand of God is striking in our land
Striking out at envy hate and greed
Our selfishness and lust our pride and deeds unjust
Are destroyed by the right hand of God

The right hand of God is healing in our land
Healing broken bodies minds and souls
So wondrous is its touch with love that means so much
When we are healed by the right hand of God

The right hand of God is planting in our land
Planting seeds of freedom hope and love
In these Caribbean lands let people all join hands
And be one with the right hand of God
