Welcome to the Virtual STI & HIV World Congress 2021

pcoming Virtual STI & HIV 2021 World Congress to be held in The Netherlands on July 14 - 17, 2021.
The STI & HIV 2021 World Congress envisions the one world and one standard of care concept, focused on key
populations most affected by Sexual Transmitted Infections (STI) and HIV. Urban centers can take the lead in the
design and implentation of non-normative solutions applicable in various international settings.

The program will offer key-note speakers, plenary & parallel sessions, sponsored symposia, clinical cases, oral and
poster presentations, with topics of interest for every participant and every professional who is associated with,
STI-HIV care, be it as health care worker, researcher, policy maker, or community representative. We also stimulate
researchers of any discipline to present their latest data on diagnostics, treatment, prevention, guidelines, etc. etc.

     ABOUT ISSTDR AND IUSTI
     The Congress represents the Joint Meeting of the 24th International Society for Sexually
     Transmitted Diseases Research (ISSDTR) and the 22nd International Union Against Sexually
     Transmitted Infections (IUSTI).

     ISSTDR
     The International Society for Sexually Transmitted Diseases Research was established
     in 1977 and conducts biennial scientific meetings that address the entire range of the
     biomedical, behavioral and social sciences related to all STDs, including HIV infection.

     IUSTI
     The International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections was founded in 1923 and it
     is organized on both a global and regional basis. It is the oldest international organisation
     with the objective of fostering international cooperation in the control of sexually
     transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS.

CONGRESS DETAILS

Community engagement is indispensable for the successful implementation of health care measures. It is thus
important to engage communities in research, from the conceptualisation phase on. To stimulate community
engagement, this conference will focus on key populations affected by STI and HIV. A community engagement
committee initiates and supervises the activities to increase participation, visibility and role of key populations in
research. The committee comprises of community leaders, scientists and artists.
