The City of Pikeville welcomes SilverLiner, owned
by Chris Tomlinson of Stanville, Kentucky, to the
Kentucky Enterprise Industrial Park. Tomlinson is an
established business owner who chose Pikeville over
other out-of-state locations because he had a desire
to create jobs for out of place coal miners in eastern
Kentucky.
SilverLiner is a manufacturing and assembly
plant producing different types of transport
vehicles, chiefly, tanker trucks to service several

industries including petroleum, vacuum, septic, fire, utilities and government. The com-
pany projects a workforce of 60 employees by early 2019 and with planned expansions
over the next several years, they expect to add an additional 300-400 workers.

with the purpose of relieving
the flooding that the City of
